WHARTON LEADERSHIP PROGRAM LIPMAN FAMILY PRIZE FELLOWS OPPORTUNITIES GAINED: • Learn about the different social impact models through the philanthropic process • Complete a due diligence process with organizations being considered for the prize • Learn from varied members of the Wharton/Penn teaching community • Refine soft skills like communication, teamwork and emotional intelligence • Employ hard skills of data analysis and project management COMMITMENT: Full academic year Vision. FELLOWSHIP: Lipman Family Prize Fellows support the selection of the prize finalist and develop their leadership skills while learning about the social sector. MISSION: The Barry & Marie Lipman Family Prize at the University of Pennsylvania is an annual prize that celebrates leadership and innovation among organizations creating positive social outcomes with an emphasis on impact and transferability of practices. COMPETENCIES DEVELOPED: •Communication •Teamwork •Emotional Intelligence •Influence OPTIONS: 12 students are chosen from both graduate and undergraduate programs at the University’s 12 schools.
