2015 Annual Leaf Collection Campaign
October 26 through December 18
The City will begin the annual
Leaf Collection Campaign
on Monday, October 26th
and run through Friday,
December 18th. Leaves will
be collected in ALL areas at
least 4 times. City residents
may begin to set out leaves
for collection on Sunday,
October 25th. For more
information go to Leaf Collection Campaign.
*Please remember to keep storms drains clear of leaves.

Needed
Mayor McClement sets aside
time each month to meet informally with citizens to discuss topics
or issues of their choice. The October Talk to the Mayor will be
held on the 4th Tuesday, October 27th from 2-6 p.m.
The Mayor's office is located in City Hall at 101 North Court St. No
appointment is necessary and citizens meet with the Mayor on a

The City of Frederick has been awarded the
prestigious International Society of Arboriculture Gold Leaf Award.
This award, based on the current planting of 50+ acres of
streambank plantings in the City, met the "outstanding
landscape beautification activity" qualification.
The Gold Leaf Award provides an opportunity for the ISA
chapters to recognize individuals, organizations and communities
at the local and regional level for either outstanding Arbor Day
activities or for outstanding landscape beautification activities.
