Dear brothers and sisters in Jesus and the Apostles:
Father Menard used to say: “Let us never forget that the Holy Spirit is ready to visit us at all times
in the same manner as He did the Apostles (1Cor 12-14).
We must remain attentive to the Spirit of God, to his ways,
to his wisdom that surpasses all human wisdom (1Cor 1,
17-31)” (Cf. Text of presentation of the Rule of life).
And this is what we have been doing in our community
these last few months. We feel his presence, his constant
and permanent action, assuring us that each moment is a
Pentecost, a “constant new Pentecost”; and that our
spirituality “will never tolerate losing the prodigious, explosive power of the first Pentecost.” (Cf.
Fr. Eusebe Menard, Text of presentation of the Rule of life).
In the different visits we make in our communities, the Animator General as well as his Council,
in the different countries where we go, we notice the action of the Holy Spirit. This is also what
Father Vincent Kilidjian saw as he accompanied the Animator General during his last trip to
Vietnam and Indonesia (24 February to 19 March 2015).
This time, I invite you to take part in the joy we feel at the manifestation of the Holy Spirit in our
community. We are presenting here certain events that fill us with joy and encourage us to
continue our mission : to awaken, form and accompany vocations in different ministries in the
Church.

Animator General
LIFE WITH THE M.S.A.
1. As at the time of the Apostles, with the power of the Holy Spirit, the new MSA members
of Indonesia, Vietnam, Cameroon and Colombia continue to persevere.
INDONESIA
The local Community of Indonesia was created on the 24 th of Juin 2014. There are presently 11
members, two priests, three brothers and six students.
On the photo, we see Fr. Ruben Ruruk Sandalajuk of Indonesia surrounded by members of the
Delegation of Peru at the
moment of his first promise of
fidelity on the 28th of Juin 2014.
The ceremony took place at our
Retreat House “Villa la Paz”,
Peru, and was presided by the
Animator General, Fr. Isaac-C.
Martinez-Chuquizana.
The MSA of Indonesia made
their first promise of fidelity on
the 26th of July 2014. The ceremony was presided by Msgr. Hieronymus Bumbun, OFMCap.,
Archbishop at the time, of the Archdiocese of Pontianak. The ceremony took place at Pakumbang
where the Community is situated. On the photo, we see from left to right: Brother Andreas
Hengky Resubun, Yohanes EBIT Toring, Brother Daniel Laian, Yanuarius Ado, Fransiskus Roke,
Waton H. Blasius, Rev. Fr. Edward Przygocki, Msgr. Hieronymus Bumbun, Fr. Christian

VIETNAM
On the 24th of Juin, the local Community of Vietnam “Word of God” was created. There are
presently nine members : 4 are in Vietnam and 5 are studying in the United States.
The Four who are in Vietnam made their first promise of fidelity at the community house in Vinh.
The ceremony took place on the 13th of July 2014 and was presided by Msgr. Paul Nguyen Thai
Hop, OP, Bishop of
the Diocese of Vinh.

Xuan Nguyen (founder of the community in Vietnam). The other four who are in the United
States made their first promise of fidelity at the Seminary of the Holy Apostles in Cromwell. The
ceremony took place on the 15th of August 2014 and was presided by the Animator General. We
can see on the photo from left to right : Anthony Dinh Xuan Giap, Jean-Baptiste Hieu Ho Huu, Fr.
Isaac-C. Martinez-Chuquizana, Paul Dang Xuan Lich, Joseph Nguyen Van Danh, Fr. Edward
Przgocki and Michael Tran Van Hai.
CAMEROON
The new members of the Delegation of Africa made
their first promise of fidelity on the 28th of Juin 2014 at
the house of probation of Saint Kisito during a ceremony
presided by the Animator of the Delegation. On the
photo we see from left to right : Thierry Nkouokam
Wadje, Dieudonné Mounguene, Fr. Leon-Pascal Nko,
Fr. Guy Paulin Nga, Manga Désiré Pierre Paulin
Enyegue and Ngono Bessala Harding.
COLOMBIA
In the Delegation “Dr. Carlos Jaramillo
de la Torre” of Colombia, two new
members made their promise of fidelity
on the 2nd of February 2015. The
ceremony was presided by the Animator
of the Delegation, Fr. Virgilio Navarro
Arias. The photo shows us the two new
MSA members, Orlando Rios Davila
Arias and Julio Eduardo Infante (in the
MSA habit on the right side).
2. As at the time of the Apostles, with the power of the Holy Spirit, new ministers are
continuing to proclaim the Reign of God.
Moreover, in this country of Colombia:
On the 3rd of May 2014, the following deacons were
ordained to the priesthood : Juan Carlos Torres Soto,
Victor Raul Salazar and Miguel Hernan Acevedo
Becerra. On this same day, Jorge Armando Sandoval
Colmenares was ordained deacon. The ceremony
took place at Notre-Dame de Chiquinquira, a church
in the Archdiocese of Bogota and was presided by
Msgr. Enrique Sarmiento Angulo, Bishop Emeritus
of the Diocese of Fontibon, Colombia.
In the United States :
Jeffrey Thompson was ordained deacon on
the 14th of May 2014. The ceremony took
place at the Basilica of the Immaculate
Conception in Waterbury, Connecticut,
U.S.A. and the celebration was presided by
Msgr. Christie Macaluso, Auxiliary Bishop
of
the
Archdiocese
of
Hartford,
Connecticut, U.S.A.
The deacon John McDermott was ordained
a priest on the 25th of April 2015 at the Basilica of the Immaculate
Conception in Waterbury, Connecticut, U.S.A. The celebration was
presided by Msgr Henry J. Mansell, Bishop Emeritus of the Archdiocese of Hartford.
CAMEROON
Deacon François Ouamba was ordained to the priesthood on the 24 th of
May 2014. The ceremony took place at the parish of Afanoyoa in the
Archdiocese of Yaoundé and was presided by the Archbishop himself,
Msgr. Jean Mbarga.
PERU
The deacons from left to right are : José
Gilmer Torres Mera, Juan Jose Zamora
Santillan and Antonio Eduardo Lajo
Alvarez. They were ordained to the
priesthood on the 19th of March 2015 in
the parish church of Saint Ann, Lima, Peru. The ceremony was
presided by Msgr. Adriano Tomasi Travaglia, OFM, Auxiliary
Bishop of the Archdiocese of Lima.
3. Like the Apostles with the power of the Holy Spirit, the MSA are reaching their full strength
in Jesus:
 Golden Jubilee of priestly ordination of Fr. Jorge P. Jepsen (31 July 1965).
 Golden Jubilee of promise of Brother André Turcotte (21 Juin 1965).
 Silver Jubilee of priestly ordination of Fr. Abad Martinez-Chuquizana (15 August, 1990).
4. Like the Apostles, with the power of the Holy Spirit, we are celebrating the Missionaries of
the Holy Apostles who gave their lives in the service of the Gospel:
 Fr. Georges Jolicoeur ; 25 March 2015.
 Brother Carmelio Leandro de Queiroga : 6 April 2015.
Silver Jubilee of their entrance into the Father’s House :
 Jacques P. Przybylo : 14 February 1990.
 Angus P. Walker: 12 March 1990.

people and adults in their vocation to the priestly ministry and other ministries in the Church”.
