Boyertown Museum of Historic Vehicles
Pennsylvania’s transportation heritage is on display at the Boyertown
Museum of Historic Vehicles. Housed in a former truck body
factory building, the Museum takes visitors all the way back to the
horsedrawn era. Along with carriages and wagons, the Museum
features bicycles and motorcycles, sleighs, as well as cars and
trucks. Almost every vehicle on display was manufactured in
Pennsylvania, making the Boyertown Museum a history of both
national and regional interest.
Your group will be able to see extremely rare vehicles that simply
do not exist elsewhere. Vehicle memorabilia and tools are also on
display to tell a full story of the history of road transportation. Also
on display are two exquisite examples of roadside architecture—a
1921 Sunoco cottage-style gas station and a 1938 Jerry O’Mahony
prefabricated diner. Both structures, which have their own bit of
local history, make for an immersive experience into two industries
that prospered as a result of the motorized age. The Museum also
features changing exhibits.
The Boyertown Museum also sponsors Duryea Day Antique &
Classic Car & Truck Show, an annual event held the Saturday of
Labor Day weekend at nearby Boyertown Community Park. Other
special events are held throughout the year, including Pie & Coffee
Saturdays in the restored diner.
• Wheelchair accessible
• Free parking
• Gift Shop
• Nearby sit-down and fast food
• Facilities for meetings, group meals, parties and special events

bridge in Berks County.

Pike Café, The Speckled Hen Cottage Pub & Alehouse and The Ugly Oyster.
Haunts & Hexes Ghost Trail
Enter at your own risk as you explore the “other side” of Berks County. Paranormal enthusiasts

Koziar’s Christmas Village
Driving through the darkened countryside, your
group will suddenly find themselves dazzled by
the glow of more Christmas lights than they’ve
ever seen before. Added to this magnificent
beauty is the spectacular reflection in the lake
situated in front of the main house. As your group
wanders through the unique indoor and outdoor
Christmas displays, they can stop to enjoy the
many shops filled with unusual ornaments,
decorated trees, toys, refreshments, train displays
and gift barns.
Christmas Village in its 67th year old history has
received many awards including one of the Top
Ten Attractions in PA. Visiting Christmas Village is
truly like “Walking in a Winter Wonderland.” Your
group will take home many happy memories of an
old-fashioned Christmas.

Group Tour ITINERARIES
Haunts & Hex Tour
greater
Join us if you dare - on a spine-tingling
journey to Greater Reading’s most haunted
places. Your host, Charles J. Adams III, is
a paranormal researcher, author of more
than 35 books on ghosts and hauntings and
storyteller extraordinaire.
Take one or a combination of 4 tours:
• Berks County Heritage Center - approx. 3 hours
Venture inside a haunted covered bridge, then along the former towpath of the Union Canal to the site of the 1875 quadruple
murder-suicide of a mother and her three children. The ghosts of the children have been seen, sensed, and heard by countless
witnesses. Afterwards, take a short walk to an eerie graveyard to hear stories of its hauntings and search for unmarked graves
with copper divining rods hand-crafted by your host.
• Hawk Mountain - approx. 4 hours
Traverse Hex Highway to Witchcraft Road and Witches Hill to Hawk Mountain, the site of an 18th century Indian massacre,
unsolved murders of two hermits, and grisly 19th century mass murders. This tragic past serves as a baseline of intense
paranormal energies in the otherwise serene sanctuary for birds of prey. Your visit includes an easy hike to the South Lookout
of the sanctuary. You will also explore the mysterious grave of the Hawk Mountain murderer in the valley below.
• Center Park Historic District - approx. 2.5 hours
Stroll through Charles Evans Cemetery, where you may see or sense the spirits of a woman and her three children who died in
a quadruple murder-suicide in 1875 and are buried there. Across the avenue, visit Stirling Mansion, a magnificent guest house
where ghost stories brim inside and outside the Chateauesque-styled beauty. The tour of the city’s historic and architectural
district will also include a visit to the Berks County History Center.
• Oley Valley - approx. 3 hours
Travel to a region that is, in its entirety, on the National Register of Historic Places. Oley abounds in fine fieldstone farmhouses,
horse farms and eerie places. Visit haunted graveyards, a 260-year old house plagued by a most peculiar and frightening spirit,
and, time permitting, “The Sacred Oak”, an enchanted, 400-year old tree. The largest oak tree of its kind in the country, it is
believed to have mystical powers.
