Confirmation, to live their lives as women united to Christ in
the sacraments. There are no exceptions to this rule.

Arrangements must be made six months in advance.

Summer Camp with Sister
Alice:
We will again offer two
Campamento de verano con la Hermana
Alicia: del 11 de julio hasta el 22, lunes a viernes,
weeks of a spirit-filled and religious
summer camp. Beginning Monday
July 11th and ending July 22.
Camp is open to any child from Catholic School,
CCD, and Sunday liturgy of the Word group who leave
mass and go to the school to study the gospel. The cost
will be only $25 for each child each week. We will
walk up to PS 7 each day for lunch. Camp will go from
8:30am mass until 4pm. Registration will begin next
week. Please mark your calendar.

My good friends,
Mis Buenos amigos,
Once again, let me encourage all in the parish to
consider our wonderful Catholic School. Maybe this
year could be the beginning of
an unforgettable experience for
your goddaughter or your
grandson.
Your children
would be grateful forever.
Our eighth graders attend
mass each week. Here they are
after mass praying in
thanksgiving as they think
about their upcoming
graduation exercises.
And
what’s nice is that they are a
class that treats each other with respect. They really
enjoy one another. The Holy Spirit in the classroom
makes it easy to learn, even with all the hard work!
As I said last week, my years in the City University
were the best. But it was the years I spent in Catholic
School that made me the man and the priest that I am
today.
As we come to the end of a school year, I would ask
every family to make the call to our office. The upper
grades are already closed out. So we need to move on
registration.
May all our students have a great ending to their
academic year, Catholic and Public Schools!

Como escribí la semana pasada, mis 5 anos en la
Universidad de la Ciudad fue una experiencia
maravillosa.
Pero mi tiempo en las escuelas
católicas me formaron intelucatmente y
espiritualmente. Yo soy hombre y el sacerdote hoy
gracias a la educación católica. Hagas la llamada
HOY.

St. Joseph High School for Girls:
Any girl
finishing 8th grade should consider this outstanding
school here in Downtown Brooklyn. Sister Joan, the
principal, has made an offer for some of the girls from
our parish to attend. They would pay about 1/5 of the
tuition other school are asking. If you’re interested,
talk to Father Frank or call Sister Joan at 718-624-3618.
Cypress Hills Local Development Corporation is
hiring two administrative assistants - one focused on human
resources and the other supporting their executive director
and Board of Directors. For more information go to the
