This row of pull-down menus will help you navigate through Acor's EZ-Fab Fabrication and Order Management Service. From here you can view the Dashboard of your account (as shown above), where you can see and track the progress of all current orders as they are being produced and readied for shipment to you. The Orders tab allows you to create new orders and keeps a database of all completed and archived orders as well. The Patients tab allows you to add current and new patients and also keeps a database of all patient information. The body of each section allows for all information to be input. This is where you will fill out all forms and view archived data. Paired with an Apple iPad it is extremely cost-effective and captures the shape of an object, transforming it into digital data that can be used to produce orthotics and AFO Gauntlets. Using the Structure Scanner in combination with Acor's EZ-Fab Service simplifies what used to be a cumbersome, difficult-to reproduce process. Contact Acor for information on obtaining the Structure 3D scanning system. Scanning environment: Try to have a background that is neutral and isn't cluttered, with as few objects that can distract the scanner as possible. Icon for scanner app as seen on iPad A simple background (floor, chair, etc.) with the patient wearing a light-colored sock is best. Ideal Foot Position: Have the knee at 180 degrees and the ankle at a 90 degree angle, suspended off the edge of a chair or table, to ensure adequate access to the entire plantar surface of the foot including the back of the heel. Scanning the foot: Stand at least 24” away from the patient's foot. Adjust the bounding box (the cube seen on the screen that is the target area of the scanner) size so that it is just large enough to encompass the whole foot. Make sure the scanner is identifying the foot as the object to be scanned. It will highlight the foot in red when this is the case. Click the “SCAN” button to begin collecting data and move around the foot until the entire data collection process is complete. Scanned data will display in white. Stop the scanner when enough data has been acquired. Email us the scan from within the scanning app. Simple. It has never been this easy until now. Clinical Indications: The Richie Brace® Dynamic Assist is indicated for the stabilization of the foot and ankle in patients with weakness of the dorsiflexor and evertor muscles of the lower leg. Seat the patient near the edge of a chair so that both feet are resting flat on the floor. They should leave their socks on and make sure the socks are pulled up to avoid wrinkles showing in the foam. Gently, place one foot with the heel nearly touching the edge of the foam. The hip, knee and ankle should be at 90 degrees, as viewed from the side. The toes should not touch the upper edge. 2. Have the patient relax. Using downward pressure on the knee and the foot, with your right and left hands, push the foot evenly and completely into the foam. Make sure the toes do not touch the edge of the box, as shown. 3. If any defect is noted please request a return of authorization from our Customer Service Department (1-800-237-2267). Upon receipt and confirmed inspection we will adjust or remake the product at no additional cost. This warranty does not apply to adjustments incidental to the wearing of an item, adjustments required due to physical changes of the wearer, deliberate misuse of an item or an item that has been altered by anyone other than Acor. TERMS AND CONDITIONS New accounts need to be prepaid or C.O.D. prior to credit approval. Net 30 days on all established accounts. Credit card payments are acceptable. (Mastercard, VISA, Discover and American Express) Service charges are 1.5% per month for balances over 30 days. All orders are shipped F.O.B. Cleveland, OH, by ground, unless notified. Damaged goods: Contact the carrier immediately upon receipt of damaged goods or missing items. The carrier has signed for receipt of goods from Acor's warehouse in good condition. Before replacement merchandise can be issued, the damage claim must be filed with the carrier. Returned Goods Policy: Sales of custom configured items are final. Returns are not permitted. Products on an invoice greater than 30 days old are non-returnable (exclusive of manufacturer defects). Call or fax our Customer Service Dept. for a Return Goods Authorization Number (RGA#). The customer must identify the original Acor invoice number to which the return relates. The RGA# must be clearly written on the outside of all respective packages. Returned goods without an RGA# will be refused. The right to use a specific RGA# will expire 30 days after the date of issue. The original freight charge will be credited only on Acor errors (shipping, packaging, etc...) Call tags will only be issued for returns relative to manufacturing defects or Acor errors. A restocking fee of 20% on all materials and laminated goods will be charged unless the product is defective. LITR-00002
