HAPPENINGS 2016
Every year hundreds of thousands of people descend on the city of Salem, Massachusetts for Salem
Haunted Happenings. A month-long festival that celebrates Halloween and fall in New England,
Haunted Happenings features group-friendly programs, tours, attractions, films, and museum
exhibits that interpret the rich history of Salem, the Salem Witch Trials, and maritime lore.
Salem Haunted Happenings has been recognized as an ABA Top 100 Event in 1998, 2001, 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2016.

Salem, Massachusetts is located on the Massachusetts coast just 15 miles north of Boston.
Traffic-permitting, the trip takes 45 minutes by motor coach. The Salem Ferry makes the trip
between Boston and Salem in 55 minutes.

Dedicated motor coach parking is available in downtown Salem on a first-come, first served
basis. Overflow coach parking can be found on the outskirts of the downtown area.
