theirhandsinapplauseandinsupportofhim

CatholicResistance.Thereis,however,
somenewstoaddtothis:theResistance
shallwin,becauseChristshallwin.You
canbesureofit.Itshallnotbeheresy
andapostasythatprevail.Evenifthey
havealltheearthlypowertoday.Todayit
seemsthosewhowanttoliquidatethe
CatholicFaitharewinninghandsdown,
buttheKingofHeavenwillmakevisible

WecontinueourseriesonthetopicoftheLutheranconceptofjustificationversusthe
Catholicunderstandingofthesamesubject,whicheveryindividualCatholicmust
believeinordertobesaved.IinitiatedthisdiscussionbecauseofFrancisBergoglio’s
statementthatheacceptstheLutheranteachingconcerninghowapersonisjustifiedinChrist.
OneofLuther’sfavoriteideaswhatthatof“simuljustusetpeccator,”orwhatisknown
as“atthesametimejustandsinner.”Thiswasmostadamantlycondemnedbythe
CouncilofTrent,asthefollowingindicates:
“IfanyonedeniesthatbythegraceofourLordJesusChristwhich
isconferredinbaptism,theguiltoforiginalsinisremitted,or
evenassertsthatthewholeofthatwhichhasthepropernature
ofsinisnottakenaway,butsaysthatitisonlytouchedinperson
