March Jubilee Event
PASTORAL VISIT OF OUR ARCHDIOCESAN SHEPHERD
SATURDAY 5 MARCH 5 P.M.
To cap our Jubilee Events, Cardinal Dolan was invited to celebrate the Golden Anniversary Mass on the nearest Sunday to the actual anniversary date, the 17th of May.
Being unable to join us on that date this year, he sent his regrets asking if there
might be another date that would be mutually opportune for him to celebrate Mass
with us within the Jubilee Year. The 5 p.m. Saturday Mass on 5 March 2016 proved
opportune.
Therefore, Cardinal Dolan will be the celebrant of our Saturday 5 p.m. Vigil Mass
here on Saturday 5 March at 5 p.m.
After Mass there will be a reception in the Forum with light refreshments during
which the Cardinal will socialize with us.
ADVISORY to REGULAR ATTENDEES – 5 o’clock Saturday Mass
Because of our invited guest, there is bound to be a higher attendance at the 5 p.m.
Mass on Saturday 5 March 2016.
Be aware that the church and the parking lot will probably not be at their usual comfort levels. To avoid discomfort, early arrival is advised or attendance at another
Mass.
ADVISORY to REGULAR ATTENDEES – 7 o’clock Saturday Mass
Because our guest will be visiting with us after the celebration of the Eucharist at 5,
the parking lot will probably not have the usual number of open spaces; parking for
those incoming to the 7 p.m. Mass may be not as easy as usual. To avoid such, one
might plan on attending another Mass or maybe being at the 5!!!
