We present products for the pond and garden under the showcase heading. Whether
equipment, care products, decorative materials or food, here we show everything the
enthusiast needs for a beautiful pond and garden and its inhabitants.
With this product presentation we offer you the opportunity to tell
our readers about your products in an editorial-style format.
Together with the image of the product we publish a product description and
your website address.
To preserve the editorial character of the pages, no additional logos,
addresses or phone numbers are reproduced.
The brand may of course be recognisable from the product images.
If you book XL publication, the decision as to whether the image is printed in portrait
or landscape format is taken by the publisher. This depends on theme and layout.

Specifications for loose inserts, bound inserts
and tip-on cards plus product samples
Loose inserts
Loose inserts are placed inside loose. They must be executed so as to dispense with
additional processing. Any difficulties or additional work (e.g. folding) will be invoiced
separately.
General
Prior to acceptance and confirmation of the order, a binding sample, if necessary a
dummy with details of size and weight, must be submitted. Bound inserts and loose
inserts may only advertise for the sales range of the company that is advertising.
They must be designed in line with mail stipulations in such a way that they cannot
be confused with the editorial element.
Inserts printed on material other than paper can only be accepted with the prior
consent of the publisher and the post office following submission of a binding sample.
Bound inserts
Bound inserts are to be supplied untrimmed; bound inserts with multiple sheets
must be supplied folded. The front page of the insert is to be marked. Bound inserts
must be designed and executed so that no additional preparation and processing
are required. Any difficulties or additional folding and gluing will be invoiced
separately.

In the case of tip-on cards or product samples,
the adhesive edges must lie in the direction of the binding.

Procedures and specifications for
the supply of advertising material
All data must be supplied as print quality PDF/X-3, PDF/X-4 or
directly processable EPS. Please also ensure that
• all colours are created as CMYK or desired special colours;
• all directly processable images and graphics are encapsulated;
• all type fonts used are encapsulated;
• images are stored exclusively in bitmap, grey-scale or CMYK mode
with profile ISOcoated v2 for sheed offset (maximum application of
colours: 300 %). By no means may “indexed” colours, RGB or other
modes or profiles be used. Image format either TIFF or EPS.
• images are not stored as DCS images, since we process uncompartmented data. We must be informed if any DCS images are
included in the material (to avoid any possibility of accidentally
poor resolution). If you do include any DCS images, we will convert
them and invoice you as appropriate.
• you provide a reliable colour printout of the data, since we have no
other way of checking the accuracy of the proof.

We can not guarantee correct reproduction unless we receive your
colour printout before the copy closing date. This is particularly
important for colour reproduction.
