FIVE 2015 TONY® AWARDS
INCLUDING BEST PLAY
Hailed as “One of the most fully immersive
works ever to wallop Broadway” by The New
York Times, this “dazzling” (Associated Press)
adaptation is the Tony® Award-winning new
play by Simon Stephens, adapted from Mark
Haddon’s best-selling novel and directed by
Tony® winner Marianne Elliott.
Fifteen-year-old Christopher has an extraordinary
brain; he is exceptionally intelligent but illequipped to interpret everyday life. When he
falls under suspicion for killing his neighbor’s
dog, he sets out to identify the true culprit,
which leads to an earth-shattering discovery and
a journey that will change his life forever.
Something Rotten!
January 10 – 15, 2017
Something Rotten! is “Broadway’s big, fat
hit!” (New York Post). Set in 1595, this
hilarious smash tells the story of Nick
and Nigel Bottom, two brothers who are
desperate to write a hit play. When a
local soothsayer foretells that the future
of theatre involves singing, dancing and
acting at the same time, Nick and Nigel
set out to write the world’s very first
MUSICAL! With its heart on its ruffled
sleeve and sequins in its soul, Something
Rotten! is “The Producers + The Book
of Mormon x The Drowsy Chaperone.

A Night with Janis Joplin
Written by Randy Johnson
July 8 – August 7, 2016
Join the excitement of A Night with Janis Joplin, the
show hailed by critics across the country that has
audiences leaping to their feet and dancing in the
aisles to great hits like “Summertime,” “Piece of My
Heart,” “Cry Baby,” and “Me and Bobby McGee.” The
unmistakable voice filled with raw emotion and tinged
with Southern Comfort made her a must-see headliner
from Monterey to Woodstock. A Night with Janis Joplin
is a musical journey celebrating Janis and her biggest
musical influences – trailblazers like Aretha Franklin,
Etta James, Odetta, Nina Simone and Bessie Smith –
who inspired one of Rock ‘n’ Roll’s greatest legends.

Outside Mullingar

This charmer of a play by John
Patrick Shanley, the Pulitzer Prize
winning author of Doubt, whisks
you away on a delightful journey to
the farmlands of Ireland. Outside
Mullingar is the story of an unlikely
romance between two rural,
middle-aged neighbors: Anthony, an
introverted farmer and Rosemary,
the woman who vows to have him
– at all costs! Poetic, uplifting, dark
and funny, Shanley lovingly spins a
tale infused with a deep yearning for
heart, homeland, faith and a sense
of belonging.

Beautiful – The Carole King Musical tells
the Tony® and Grammy® Award-winning
inspiring true story of King’s remarkable
rise to stardom, from being part of a
hit songwriting team with her husband
Gerry Goffin, to her relationship with
fellow writers and best friends Cynthia

the most successful solo acts in popular
music history. Along the way, she made
more than beautiful music, she wrote the

Wicked
March 1 – 12, 2017
AT PROCTORS
So much happened before Dorothy dropped in.
Wicked, the Broadway sensation, looks at what
happened in the Land of Oz…but from a different
angle. Long before Dorothy arrives, there is another
girl, born with emerald-green skin—smart, fiery,
misunderstood, and possessing an extraordinary
talent. When she meets a bubbly blonde who is
exceptionally popular, their initial rivalry turns into the
unlikeliest of friendships…until the world decides to
call one “good,” and the other one “wicked.”
With a thrilling score that includes the hits “Defying
Gravity,” “Popular” and “For Good,” Wicked has
been hailed by The New York Times as “the defining
musical of the decade.” Time Magazine cheers,
“if every musical had the brain, the heart, and the
courage of Wicked, Broadway really would be a
magical place.”
