FINECUT is a film company specialized in international sales and marketing, production, financing and acquisition of high-end films, set up
in 2008 by Youngjoo SUH, the founder of Cineclick Asia, who has represented many works of the best known Korean filmmakers such as
LEE Chang-dong (POETRY), KIM Ki-duk (PIETA), HONG Sangsoo (IN ANOTHER COUNTRY), PARK Chan-wook (OLD BOY), and BONG Joonho (THE HOST). SUH has represented not only Korean films but also a wide variety of international films such as TUYA’S MARRIAGE (China)

Hye-rim, a 35-year-old woman, finds a job at a hospital as an assistant nurse assigned to a quadriplegic VIP patient who practically owns the hospital. For the
past 10 years, the VIP patient’s son Sang-woo has been desperately keeping him alive for money, ordering the doctors to perform several heart transplants
despite recurrent heart failures. In need of another one, Sang-woo takes a brain dead unidentified woman as a donor and asks Hye-rim to look into her
background. She discovers that the woman was once a prostitute known as ‘Madonna’ who has experienced a lifetime of abuse, and that she is pregnant.

At Seoul Station after sunset, an old homeless man, one of the many, is seen as he gobbles up another. Soon, the streets around the area are covered with

Sabu and Miki, a young couple in Fukushima, are disturbed by a sudden explosion at the nearby nuclear plant. As instructed, they quickly make their

Jong-bun, in her eighties, is one of the last surviving ‘Comfort Women’ victims forced into sexual slavery by the Japanese Army during World War II. Back
in 1944, at the end of the Japanese occupation in Korea, Jong-bun was a poor but energetic young girl while Young-ae was the smart rich clerk’s daughter.
One day, Jong-bun gets abducted and finds herself on a train for Manchuria. To her surprise, she also finds Young-ae on the train facing the same fate to
become a comfort woman. Jong-bun and Young-ae help each other go through the living hell and as the war comes to an end, they finally escape from the

By mistake, film director Ham Chunsu arrives in Suwon a day early. With time to kill before his lecture the next day, Chunsu stops by a restored, old palace
and meets an artist named Yoon Heejung. Together, they go to Heejung’s workshop to look at her paintings, have Sushi with Soju for dinner, and get close.
Later, they go to another café and have more drinks with Heejung’s acquaintances. When asked if he is married, Chunsu is forced to reveal the fact that he
is, and Heejung gets deeply disappointed... In the second part of the film, a similar story of “meeting and parting” unfolds. Here, the woman’s voice seems
intimidated and her body crouched. The man and the woman go about to the same places, but this time the man strips himself and what not.

On a remote island, an old man lives alone. He leads a quiet life but whenever a phone call from the ocean resonates throughout the island, he begins to

Chinese eel farmer Chen smuggles into Korea to prove that his eels are safe. An inspector takes pity on his desperation and tests his eel, only to discover
