Leadership.Awareness.Long-lastingchange.Thesearethewordsweusetodescribethepastyear.Inthepasttwelve
months,wehavemadegreatstridesindevelopingandimplementingafiveyearstrategicplanthatwillstrengthen
UnitedWayNSV’slong-termrelevance,growourdonorbaseandincreaseourimpact.Aswelooktowardthefuturewe
seegreatopportunityforourorganizationtorespondtoandaddresscommunityneedsinawaythatfosterslongterm
systemicchange.
Wecan’tbegintodothiswithoutyoursupportandyou’veresponded.Asweapproachedtheendofour2015
campaign,wewereconcernedwe’dbesignificantlyshortofgoal,meaningcutbacksinimpactgrantsandsupportfor
localprograms,butthecommunitysteppedupinamajorway.Companiesincreasedpledges,employeesheldmore
specialeventsandyouallreachedouttoyourfriendsandcolleaguestomakesureweweresuccessful.Thankyoufor
continuingtobelieveinusandtheworkwearechargedtodo.Thisresponseresultedin$1,100,649raisedwhich
supportprogrampartnershipstomeetcommunityneedsandmobilizehundredsofvolunteerstohelptheirneighbors.
Ouraccomplishmentsareonlypossiblethroughthededicatedeffortsofallofourdonors,businesses,individuals,
schools,volunteersandpartners.
Welookforwardtoabrightandprosperous2016.ThisyearwewilllaunchourSocietyofEmergingLeadersGroup.This
groupareprofessionalsintheirtwentiesandthirtieswhowanttoworktomakeourcommunitybetterthrough
