natives

crowned the king
and queen of the
Krewe of Gemini
this year.
On Jan. 19, Dr.
Joseph Rogers and
Lindsey Walters,
who are siblings,
were crowned as
King Jupiter and
Queen
Leda
XXXIX at the
Krewe of Gemini
coronation ball at
the Coliseum in
Biloxi. The krewe rolled in
Gulfport on Feb. 2 and also
on Fat Tuesday.
Dr. Rogers is the son of
Gene Rogers, Sr., and
Marie Niolet, both of Pass
Christian. He graduated
from Harrison Central High
School and attended Mississippi Gulf Coast Junior Col-
