It Is recommended that Dr. William T. Callaban be appointed

It i. luggested that the Board move to officially adopt. receive,
and record in its Minutes the agreement of principle. which
was signed by our President and the VEEB Board last Saturday

reception from the VEEB staff. on an unofficial basis has be~n
extremely positive and moat deUahtful. In tbe near future Ciene
Burnkrant and 1 will meet with the VEEB staff to welcome this
group into our BOCES and to assure them of our oft-expressed
intentions.
C.
Several of tbe Board Members sUlsested that the Board also
record in its Minutes approval of the general organizational
plan as outlined in your Spring Report and as discussed at our
recent executive ses SlOD.
D.
Now district member applications arrive almost dally. We will
bavo approximately forly.five member districts by the time of
our Board meeting on May 9. There aeema little doubt to mo
that all of the Nassau schools will be with us next year- -e.pecially because of the transition of VEEB responsibilities to our
