Project A Registration for Parents
1. Begin at the WCATY homepage (wcaty.wisc.edu)
2. Hover your mouse over the ‘Explore’ tab and select ‘Parents’
3. On the right side of the screen, look for the ‘Explore’ column. Select ‘Register Now’

Select ‘Project A’
Select ‘Individual’
If you are not new to WCATY, continue to step 8
If you are new to WCATY:
a. Create a login
8. Enter your User Name and Password
9. Click on the ‘Begin Application’ icon
10. Scroll through the list of courses and click the red ‘Select’ button next to your class
11. Select basic information from a previous application or input all new basic applicant data.
Information will appear in the boxes as seen below. When ready, click ‘Submit.’
12. Answer the remaining questions as prompted.
13. The final ENDORSED screen means the application has been submitted (Your application is
not finished until you reach this screen)
Student Recommendation Form:
1. Under ‘Application Info’, select ‘Learn More’.
2. This will bring you to the ‘Forms’ page. Select ‘Recommendation Form’
3. The Recommendation Form will look like this:
4. Once the form is filled out, send it to WCATY

Editing a Student’s Information:
1. Follow steps 1-10
2. Find your student’s name on the list and click select:
3. Update information as you see fit and click ‘Submit’
4. Follow the prompts click ‘Submit’
