As the weather warms up and the sun comes out,
Echota homeowners can bask in the beauty of
their surroundings—pristine mountains, clear

Meet the Neighbors
Richard and Jan Dedmon
Shelby, N.C., couple Richard and Jan Dedmon
first discovered Echota when Richard installed a
new water tank at Echota on the Ridge. While
there, Richard, who works in his family’s water
and wastewater tank business, got a first-hand
look at the gorgeous views and the beautiful
properties, and was very impressed at the
property’s management.
And, this past March, the couple purchased their
own property—a townhome at Echota on the
Ridge. “We needed a larger house for our children
and grandchildren, and our townhouse provides
that for us,” says Jan, a former elementary school
teacher. “Our children are both ASU graduates
and are thrilled to come back and visit.”
[Boone]
Enjoy gourmet salads like the Good Ole Cob,
heavenly appetizers like Drunken Mussels and
Pulled Pork & Smoked Gouda Nachos, fish & chips,
flavorful tacos, and decadent sandwiches like Fig
& Bacon Grilled Cheese and Fried Green BLT.
Delivery available Monday through Saturday from
11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and on Sunday from 11 a.m. to
9:30 p.m.
As for activities, the Dedmons are most
excited about taking advantage of the area’s
prime skiing and shopping proximity,
attending nearby football games, and
enjoying the wonderful fall weather.
“Richard and I are looking forward to
trying new restaurants in and around
town, and the wine festivals sounds good
too,” Jan adds.
The pair hopes to spend as much time as
possible at their new townhome, and can’t
wait to explore all the amenities Echota
has to offer. Says Jan: “The pool with the
waterfall will surely be a favorite!”
