Howdy Moms!
Happy New Year to You and Happy New Semester to all your Aggies! If one of your resolutions is to make new friends and visit with
old friends, come join us at our next General
meeting on Monday, January 19th. Our guest
speaker will be the Texas A&M Student Body
President Kyle Kelley. We will also be honoring all our December Graduates. Whoop!
We enjoyed a great Fall Semester in Collin
County Aggie Moms (CCAM). Our Sales of
Pecans, Poinsettias and Scrip Gift Cards were
all great successes. We joined with other local
Aggie Moms Clubs to create a marketplace of
unique Aggie items at the Howdy Holiday Sale
and our Boutique was outstanding. Thank you
to everyone who bought or sold for us. A special thank you goes to the ladies who coordinated the fundraising efforts. You are greatly
appreciated!
It’s never too late to get more involved in club
activities. The Aggie Moms Connecting cochairs continue to offer monthly Bunco Nights
and a variety of opportunities to get together
for social events.
The Federation of Texas A&M University
Mothers’ Clubs will be hosting the winter
meeting in College Station on Saturday, January 24th. All Aggie Moms are invited! Check
the Federation website www.aggiemoms.org/
for more details.
Save the date of Friday, March 27th for the
CCAM Howdy Rowdy Round Up. It will be a
great event with Dinner, a Silent Auction, a
Wine Pull, Incredible Edibles and more. Stay
tuned for more information.
Believe it or not, it’s time to start thinking
about officer positions for next year. Please
consider joining the CCAM Board for the 2015
-2016 school year. It is a truly rewarding experience. If you have a desire to serve in a board
or committee chair position, please let me or a
board member know of your interest.
Everyone has the power for greatness,
not for fame but for greatness, because
greatness is determined by service.
