The track carrier uses the latest in hydrostatic
drive technology resulting in a carrier with low
maintenance and high reliability. The heavy duty
tracks are 24-inch wide heavily reinforced rubber.
The ground clearance is 16 inches throughout the
carrier for easy traveling through mud, snow, sand,
steep slopes and wooded areas. This unit uses
two-speed motors which enable the rig to
negotiate a 75% grade (with the 115HP engine)
in low range and travel at 5.9 MPH in high range.

DIEDRICH REMOTE CONTROL TRACK CARRIER SPECIFICATIONS
HEAVY DUTY CARRIER
DESCRIPTION
The Diedrich heavy duty remote control carrier is a rubber track carrier designed to carry the Diedrich 0-50
drill rig. The track carrier uses the latest in hydrostatic drive technology resulting in a carrier with low
maintenance and high reliability. The carrier is designed to traverse mud, snow, sand, steep slopes, uneven
ground and wooded areas.
CARRIER
The drill rig engine drives two heavy-duty hydrostatic pumps which power the individual two-speed track motors
with planetary drives. The track carrier is regulated to 2.5 mph in low range and 5.9 mph in high ..
Tracks are 24" wide heavily reinforced rubber tracks.
Steering is hydrostatic. skid steer with zero turning radius.
A totally enclosed spring applied, hydraulically released multi-disc parking brake is provided.
Ground clearance is 16 inches throughout the carrier.
The hydraulic system for the drill rig operation is completely disabled for safety while the carrier drive is in
operation. When the drill rig is being used for drilling, the hydrostatic drive is completely disabled.
Ground contact pressure less tools is 3.5 to.4.0 psi.
The unit will negotiate a 75% grade with the 115 HP engine ..
CARRIER BODY
The carrier body is constructed from structural steel members and 1/8 in. safety tread deck plate.
One tool box is provided on the right side of the carrier. Two tool boxes and a 5 ft. rod rack are provided on
the left side of the carrier.
An auger storage area is furnished at the front of the carrier.
Fenders are provided over and on the inside of the tracks.
Optional rod storage and additional tool boxes and/or auger racks are available.
HYDRAULIC LEVELING JACKS
Two 36" jacks are furnished for the rear and two for the front of the carrier.
Rear jacks are individually controlled from the control panel. Self-leveling front jacks are controlled by a single
control lever.
CARRIER WINCH
A carrier winch is furnished including wire rope and roller guides which allow for winching the carrier in either
a forward or reverse direction.
