Synopsis
Windsor Drive explores the disturbed mind of River Miller, a mentally unstable
27 year old, haunted by the death of his girlfriend, Jordana. Trapped by the voices
and visions in his head, River’s world begins to crumble, as his delusions about
Jordana’s death begin to take over his reality.
Now in a relationship with a new woman, Brooke, River begins pursuing a career
as an actor in an attempt to escape from himself. As his neurosis manifests, his
psychotic episodes begin to increase.
After learning of an open casting call for the new Liz Leaf film, River makes the
rash decision to move to Los Angeles to pursue the role. He abruptly ends the
relationship with Brooke, but not before they share one more intimate night
together.
When he arrives in Los Angeles, he is offered a room in an old 1920’s Hollywood
Mansion by its two current tenants, Wulfric and Ivy, two vampy hipsters with an
agenda of their own. As River becomes more involved with the two of them, his
visions of Jordana & the past begin to become more surreal & intense.
Desperate to climb out of his skin, he immediately starts to pursue the role in the
film, first by conventional means, but when that doesn’t work, by using more
aggressive tactics. He begins to stalk the Junior Casting Director, June Ellis. After
weeks of manipulation, she begins to fall for River’s façade and offers him the
opportunity to read for a part in the film.
River’s tumultuous past finally catches up to him, with the arrival of Brooke in
Los Angeles, forcing him to face a reality that he isn’t prepared for. As everything
begins to unravel, River begins to lose his mind and is ultimately left to endure the
consequences of his actions.

Windsor Drive explores the disturbed mind of River Miller, an unstable actor
trying to escape his past and the inner demons that haunt him. My approach with
bringing this story to life was highly driven by creating transfixing visuals and
interlaced repetition. No matter how much we as humans try to forget the
traumas of past tragedies, certain memories never fade and we can at times
replay these situations over and over in our minds. I wanted to metaphorically
express this by not only having scenes and elements repeat themselves, but by
having fragments play upside down and both backwards and forwards at times.
I also used music as both an additional story telling tool and as a metaphorical
element. For example, just as River cannot stop the voices from playing in his
mind, the music in the film is a constant reminder that he “can not turn it off”.
The fact that River is also an actor is an important underlying clue that this story
is filled with illusions. The art of acting is all about transforming into someone
else or in River’s case, “escaping” from the day-to-day reality of his real life.
My goal with Windsor Drive was to entrap the audience inside River’s delusions
as much as possible and to use both visual & musical storytelling tools to create
a rollercoaster ride that is both thrilling and bizarre at times, leaving the audience
to decide for themselves what is real and what is an illusion.

as RIVER MILLER
Tommy O’Reilly is a talented young actor & screenwriter.
He was born on March 22, 1986 in Canada and has a Bachelors
degree in Political Science from McMaster University in
Hamilton, Canada. He is best known for his roles in The Client
List (2010), Cougar Club (2007) and Necessary Measures
(2012).
Tommy can next be seen in the feature films “William Froste”
and "November Ice".
as JUNE
Mandy Musgrave is an American actress and singer. Best
known for her portrayal of Ashley Davies on the television
series South of Nowhere, as well as portraying Misty Monroe
in the web series Girltrash!
Musgrave has also appeared on the television show CSI. Her
big break came when she landed the role of Chelsea Benson on
the daytime drama Days of our Lives, appearing on the series
from 2004 to 2005.
Mandy is married to her “Windsor Drive” co-star Matt Cohen.

as BROOKE
Samaire Armstrong was born on October 31, 1980 in Tokyo,
Japan as Samaire Rhys Armstrong. She currently stars on ABC’s
Resurrection as Elaine Richards. She has appeared on numerous
television series including Sons of Anarchy, The Mentalist, The
OC, Dirty Sexy Money and HBO’s Entourage.
Her feature film work has included Stay Alive, Just my Luck,
Windsor Drive, A Winter Rose, 5 Souls, Concrete Blondes, It's A
Boy Girl Thing, and Around June.
In 2004 Entertainment Weekly named her as a Breakthrough
Artist of the Year.
as JORDANA
Jillian Leigh Murray was born in Reading, Pennsylvania. She
has one younger sister named Meghan. She left Reading at 15
and moved to Tucson, Arizona, where she began her
professional career with independent films. She completed high
school in Tucson and immediately headed to Los Angeles to
pursue her acting career.
Her credits include roles in An American Carol (2008) alongside
Kelsey Grammer and Dennis Hopper and Cougar Hunting
(2011) with Lara Flynn Boyle. She has also starred in such
horror films as The Graves (2009), erotic thrillers like Wild
Things 4 (1994) and the action film Never Back Down 2: The
Beatdown (2011) with Michael Jai White.

as IVY
Anna Biani aka Anna Giorgobiani, a native of Tbilisi, Georgia,
began her acting career at the age of 6 appearing in a number of
commercials as well as a documentary. In 2005, at the age of 14,
she landed her first serious role as a lead actress in a short feature
film called "If This Day Never Happened" (2006), directed by her
sister Khatuna Giorgobiani.
Anna has participated with her line of work in series of short
films, "Sendpoint", "Christmas Eve." (Leonardo Corbucci),
"Arminius" (Clint Glenn), "Loverly" (Katerina Moutsatsou). In
the summer of 2011, she acted in Charles Matthau's "Freaky
Deaky", and Brenda Urquhart's "Kessler's Lab". Anna is the
daughter of a Georgian film director Besarion Giorgobiani.
as MATT
Matt Cohen grew up in South Florida where he played football
and track in high school and also graduated with a 3.8 GPA.
After high school he studied business at Florida State, where he
also took some theatre classes. He then decided that he wanted
to become an actor, so he moved out to LA and started to pursue
his dream.
10 months after moving out to LA he went and booked a lead
role as the sensitive jock, Aiden Dennison on South of Nowhere.
Since then he has guest stared on various shows such as The OC,
Medium, and Supernatural, & 90210. He has also been in
many films including one of the lead roles in Boogeyman 2,
Chain Letter, & The Outside.
He is married to his "Windsor Drive" co-star,
Mandy Musgrave.

Kyan DuBois, born June 6, 1986, is an American actor making
his film debut in Windsor Drive.

Brieanna Steele was born in San Antonio, Texas, September 7,
1980. In addition to acting, she is an established writer,
producer, and photographer. Her work has been seen across the
United States and Europe. Her love for the creative arts has
driven her further into creating and developing for Absinthe
Productions.
Brieanna is a talented actress to look out for in the near future.
She resides in Palm Springs, California.
