Who we are
Nick and Jason first met whilst working at a laboratory in Denham in 1993 and
soon decided to form a partnership together, initially renting bench space within
an established chrome laboratory. After just 18 months they were able to rent
their own premises and Oakview Restorations was born. Their vision was to create
a state-of-the-art laboratory and they became the first lab in the UK to buy the
Cerec CAD/CAM system.
Jim, who had been working independently for several years, subsequently
approached Oakview to commission zirconia crowns for one of his clients. The
three of them hit it off immediately and joined forces forming a limited company
which included the purchase of the premises in Saunderton where they have been
since 2006. In December 2010 they purchased the adjoining unit to accommodate
the expanding team.
“
Oakview are a very friendly
and responsive team. Great
quality, first class service and
excellent turnaround time.
Overall, an exceptional lab.

Crown and bridge - attention to detail
that’s second to none

you need to be a perfectionist. At Oakview that’s exactly
what we are. Each one of us is dedicated to providing
you with the very best service and an end product that
will exceed your expectations and improve the quality of
life for your patients.
At Oakview we offer a wide range of conventional and
innovative products and solutions. Whether it’s porcelain
fused to metal or zirconia or the wonderful new e.max
from Ivoclar we provide a superb standard of service and
attention to detail.
Precision
Everything we do is inspected under the microscope for accuracy; from trimming
dies to checking the margins. For a truly passive fit our bridgework is laser welded
as a matter of course.
From a single bonded crown to complex implant borne bridge work and
prosthetics, we promise you a service that gives you attention to detail, punctuality
and value for money.
Artistry
Ceramic work beautifully crafted using multi-layering techniques to produce a
totally natural appearance. Our porcelain technicians attend the latest workshops
and lectures, which is reflected in the artistry of the restorations they create.
Being an expanding laboratory with a carefully selected team, our expert GDC
registered technicians provide a highly professional service. You’ll get to know the
technicians dedicated to producing your work so that we can ensure consistent
reliable results every time.
We also use the MHT SpectroShade digital shade mapping system to custom match
shades perfectly using the latest porcelains either in Vita Classic or 3D shades.
Craftsmanship
It takes artistry, dexterity and years of experience to reach the levels of expertise
achieved by our technicians, all of whom are true craftsmen.
Technology
To remain at the forefront of our work, we combine our craft skills with the latest
technology, such as computer aided design, milled zirconia frameworks, laser
welding and digital shade mapping. We also use state-of-the-art materials and
techniques such as Ivoclar’s e.max pressable ceramic and VisiClear invisible clasps.
CPD verifiable seminars
We take great care to ensure that our dentists are kept up to date with new
developments and regularly run complementary CPD verifiable seminars at our
lab. Please visit our website or call us for the latest seminar information.
