World Day of Prayer Thank You
Our sincere thanks to all who participated
and attended the World Day of Prayer service
held in the PW Uniting Church on Friday
March 6th.
Thank you to the Catholic ladies who helped
us out with the service, we could not do it
without you all, and we say thank you.
Thanks also to our Guest Speaker, Mrs.
Leanne Keech who had been to Bermuda
and was able to speak on conditions, places
etc.
Thank you to Dianne C, Margaret H for the
decorations in the church, focusing on the
sun, sand, sea, palms, the bowl of water and
towel representing the Bible reading,
John 13, when Jesus washes his disciple’s
feet at the Passover. A total of $140.85 has
been sent off to support the projects in the
Bahamas, my grateful thanks to you all.

Documentary Premiere - Gallipoli - The
Road to Jerusalem
6.00pm, Wednesday 1 April 2015
Hetzel Lecture Theatre
Free, bookings essential
The 1915 Dardanelles (or Gallipoli) Campaign in Turkey
is regarded as one of the biggest Allied defeats of the
First World War. Many Australians and New Zealanders,
however, deem the 25th April 1915, when their soldiers
landed at Gallipoli as a ‘baptism of fire’ and the real
beginning of their nationhood.
Join presenter Kelvin Crombie for the premiere of his
documentary where he leads us on a journey to Britain,
Europe, Turkey, Israel, Jordan, New Zealand and
Australia. He discovers, in the process, that a road
began at Gallipoli which was destined to lead to
Jerusalem.
