Spiritual & Life Experience
I served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Ohio Cleveland Mission - a true
life experience that molded me into the person I am today. (2002 – 2003 season)
My Story
I grew up loving motorcycles. I talked my parents
into letting me get one and start racing.
I was very fortunate to accomplish my
dream as a kid and make money racing
dirt bikes. As you are well aware, it
was extremely challenging and
required an insane amount of
work and dedication, especially
from my parents and, later, from
my wife and kids. They sacrificed
a lot. Then after a number of bad
injuries, I decided it was time for
a roll cage. I started working for people like Robby
Gordon and getting help from other contacts. I was
able to continue racing and support my wife and kids.
hard and earn a spot on the Clark County Fire
Department in Las Vegas. Now, fortunately with my
schedule, I am able to still do some truck racing. I
have also really been enjoying putting some time back
on the motorcycle. There is nothing in the world like
riding bikes. I am looking forward to the competition,
challenge and just the pure enjoyment, that comes
from riding. It is truly good for the body, mind and spirit.
For reasons including family, home time, age, and
economy, I decided I should go after my other
childhood dream - becoming a firefighter. Lessons
from racing served me well as I worked extremely

“win/win” for all parties involved with professional
