Citizens Invited To Attend City Hall in
Your Neighborhood Public Meetings

Mayor Dewey Bartlett and the Tulsa City Council invite citizens to attend
the upcoming City Hall in Your Neighborhood public meetings which will
be held in each council district. Each meeting will begin with an
information resource fair at 5:30 p.m., followed by presentations by the
Mayor and City Councilor at 6 p.m. Several City department
representatives will also be present to provide information and to answer
citizens' questions.
The district meetings are scheduled as follows:
District 1 - Jan. 10, at Rudisill Regional Library, 1520 N. Hartford Avenue.

The Mayor and Council encourage citizens to spread the word among their
friends and contacts about these public meetings. It will be an opportunity for
Tulsa residents to talk directly with their elected officials, City department
heads, and staff. Citizens will also be able to make service requests with
representatives from the Working in Neighborhoods Department and
Customer Care Center.

Auto thefts
Twenty-two vehicles were reported stolen, and twelve
of those vehicles were GM products. Reported stolen
were: 10 cars, 8 trucks, 3 SUVs, and 1 service/utility
van. 63% of the stolen vehicles were made before
2000 and 4 of them were left running or had the keys
left in them.
burglaries
There were 99 burglaries reported and Thursday
claimed the top spot as the most popular day, followed
by Wednesday. 77% of all the burglaries reported
were residential burglaries and 61% occurred between
the hours of 6 am and 6 pm. The most common
method of gaining entry remains using force on
(otherwise known as “kicking”) the front door but
breaking windows to enter is starting to increase.
Large screen TVs and gaming devices continues to be
the “hot” items most reported stolen.
Larcenies
There were forty-eight total larcenies reported. 31%,
or fifteen, of all larcenies reported were from vehicles,
otherwise known as burglary from vehicle. 15%, or
seven, were larcenies from retailers, otherwise known
as shoplifting. The most popular day to commit a
larceny during this time period was Tuesday, followed
by Monday.
Robberies
There were thirteen total robberies reported. Seven of
the thirteen robberies were committed between 6 pm
and midnight. Friday was the most popular day.
Unfortunately there were no common patterns or
descriptions among the suspects to aid in
identification.
