from many cities in Japan and some foreign cities. Sendai, the city well
known by its nickname of "city of trees", welcomes you in November,
2016, with beautiful autumn color of leaves and a good occasion of heat
transfer forum.

About IFHT
Keynote Lectures
The Fourth International Forum on Heat Transfer (IFHT2016) is
organized by the Heat Transfer Society of Japan (HTSJ) to seek new
paradigm by inviting leading scientists and engineers from all over the
world. The IFHT was started in Kyoto 2004, and then the second and third

IFHT were held in Tokyo 2008 and Nagasaki 2012, respectively, where
the fusion of nano-, micro- and bio-technologies with heat transfer science
was selected as the main theme.
The Fourth IFHT to be held during November 2-4, 2016 in Sendai
focuses upon heat and mass transfer, and world-prominent scientists are
encourages prospective authors to actively participate in this international
gathering. The Shiro Nukiyama Memorial Award will be presented during
IFHT2016.
