T W Th F 9:00am - 2:30pm
30 min each way
Transfer to Finca El Lomo, a well-known banana plantation and walk through thick

watching, this activity allows you to get involved as well as sample Canary Island bananas.
Next, you will meet professional “Gomera whistlers” who will entertain by demonstrating
their language from the past
used to communicate over long
distances.
Another Tenerife tradition
includes “Lucha Canaria”
(Canary Island wrestling)
as well as “Juego del Palo”
(stick fighting). Our more
adventurous guests may
participate in this age old
tradition. To round off these
traditions, learn to make the
typical “mojos” (herb and garlic
based sauces which accompany
most meals on Tenerife) together with the “Papas Arrugadas” (wrinkled salty potatoes).
Finally the group will be treated to a traditional, rustic barbecue at the banana plantation.

Countries where the reward is considered a benefit in kind, the value will be reported as income.
FedEx estimates the amount of tax associated with this increase to income and pays the estimated
taxes on your behalf. The value of the package and the taxes FedEx pays will be reflected on your
year-end income statements.
Finance will only gross up the initial value of the benefit once. If the employee’s income fits a
higher tax bracket as a result of the increased income, any additional tax is borne by the employee.
