Year 2010 has been a remarkable year for Century
Properties. With the brisk sellout of the first three
towers of Azure Urban Resort Residences shortly after
its launch; the successful completion and turnover of
Grand Soho Makati; and our 40 percent growth from the
previous year, we knew that things could only get better;
not just for us but more importantly – for you.
Acqua Private Residences is the first nature-infused
residential Eden in the center of the metropolis.
A 2.4-hectare masterplanned vertical village with six towers,

In February, we launched Acqua Private Residences (Page
8), a 2.6-hectare development rising in Mandaluyong City
right across the Rockwell Center. This six-tower project

Century Properties, Inc. (CPI) recently
announced that the APG, one of the largest
global pension asset managers based in the
Netherlands, with EURO 266 billion of
assets under management, has invested
P2.25 billion to Century.
Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP), through Governor
Amando M. Tetangco Jr., encouraged the families of
overseas Filipino workers to contribute to “help improve
the financial condition of economy” through savings and
investments to “grow their money for the long term.”
Century is one of the most recognized
real estate brands, and one of the most
experienced property developers in the
Philippines, with experience in property
development in the United States.
In a Philippine Star article published in May, Tetangco
was quoted as saying in a policy forum speech that
“while consumption generates economic growth, it is the
allocation of remittances to savings and investments that
will improve the financial condition of households and
that of the entire economy in the long term.”
According to Jose E. B. Antonio, Chairman
and CEO of Century, “The investment
by APG in Century augurs well as it is a
sign of APG’s confidence in the Philippine
economy over the long term, and APG’s
trust in the management, track record and
vision of Century.”
BSP’s Consumer Expectations Survey for the first quarter
of 2011 indicated that “the percentage of households of
overseas Filipino workers that set aside money for savings
has increased to 41.4 percent compared to only 7.2
percent in the first quarter of 2007 when the first survey
was conducted.”
Tetangco said that the “percentage of households that used
part of their remittance for investments reached only 5.7
percent in the first quarter of the year from 2.3 percent
four years earlier.”

Gramercy Residences rises to more
than 70 floors
In January, Century Properties marked its first event
for the year 2011—its 25th anniversary—with the
Topping Out Ceremony for The Gramercy Residences,
currently the tallest building in the Philippines.
The event celebrated the completion of the building’s
topmost floor, at more than 70 storeys. “This occasion
is a testament of our commitment of delivering our
projects on schedule and in the best quality to our
clients,” said the company’s Chief Operating Officer
John Victor R. Antonio. Officials came in full force
with special guests Mr. Washington Z. SyCip, one of
Century’s independent directors, and Architects Roger
and Roy Villarosa.
Launched in 2007, The Gramercy Residences features
three floors of hyper-amenities called The Skypark,
located halfway up the building and offering spectacular
skyline views; as well as Fully-furnished, Fully-serviced

Following the successful Vina Morales roadshow of the Century
One Team in Europe in November 2010, a 5-city caravan kicked
off in April to formally launch Century’s newest project, Acqua
