To ensure that your fence meets the Australian
Standards, please make sure that you fence adheres
the following requirements:
To get the job done right you need to plan carefully. Everton’s
glass systems provide a wide selection of panel sizes to cater
for your site requirements. Use the tips detailed below to make
measuring up a simple process:
To create the most streamlined, designer look, try to use
as many equally sized panels as possible
Use a steel tape measure so that your measurements
are accurate
It is important to consider the footing that your channel
or posts will be enclosed within or attached to, please refer
to the installation requirements
Handling glass
Due to the weight and the nature of the glass panels we always
recommend a two-person lift when moving glass panels. When
moving and storing the glass it is crucial that the edges never
make contact with hard surfaces such as concrete and tiles.
Everton safety glass is toughened and unlike standard window
glass that breaks into sharp shards, the panel will shatter into
small blunt pieces if dropped or mishandled.
Glass Safety
We recommend the following safety gear for handling glass:
If installing the Semi-Frameless 600mm system in a
C2 region it is important to note that the maximum
panel width is 800mm
