The Food and Beverage booths open
at 2pm. There will be a wide variety of
delicious food available to make sure
the whole family can find something
they love. There will be plenty of water,
soft drinks, beer and wine to make sure
everybody stays cool on a nice summer
day. The full list of food and drink venders
is on the last page.
The Home of the Brave Park will be
“Rock’n” all day long with live music
starting at 2pm and not stopping until
Rozzi’s Famous Fireworks end the
day with a BANG at 10pm. Local news
celebrity Rich Jaffe from Local 12 WKRC
will keep things moving as our Master of
Cermonies for the night. “Thunderbay”
gets us started at 2pm, and plays till 4pm
when “The Big Trouble Blues Band” takes
the stage. Everybody will be on their feet
when the “Rusty Griswolds” take the stage
at 7pm and keep us rocking till Rozzi’s light
the night sky.
Don’t forget your sunglasses. There will
be a whole lot of Shiny Chrome, Paint and
Flames at the Car and Bike Cruise-In.This
event is from 3pm-5pm and is a casual
cruise-in, so bring your car or motorcycle
and the whole family. A “Peoples Choice”
trophy will be awarded at 5:30 pm and
Goody Bags for the first 50 participants
to arrive. The cruise in is sponsored by
the Symmes Township Republican Club,
and Diehl Insurance. Make sure you stop

There is a lot more than just great music, food,
drinks, and shiny cars for the family to enjoy. Some
of today’s most popular movie characters will be
there from 2pm - 4pm so kids of all ages get
a chance to meet them, and get their picture with
them if they want. Make sure you have your phone
ready so you can share a video of your family
singing along with these wonderful performers.
There will also be face painting, a bounce house,
and a 40’ inflatable batting cage for kids of all
ages to enjoy. The Home of the Brave Park has
a beautiful Wet & Dry Playground for the kids to
play, or cool off from the summer heat. The kids
can make their Dad a Fathers Day Card. There will
be a booth stocked with all the supplies they need,
and it’s FREE.Make sure you visit the Veteran’s
Memorial Plaza, the Military Memorial Wall is a
breathtaking tribute to the men and women, past
and present of the Armed Forces.
A Fun Day For The Whole Family
“The 4th Annual Ping Pong Drop is back. As
the name implies – at 6:00 p.m. we will “drop”
hundreds of ping pong balls from the LovelandSymmes Fire Department’s Tower 61. These ping
pong balls are colored coded to match specific
prizes. Carol Sims, Event Coordinator, notes this
is always a fun event – for both young and old.
This event would not be possible without the many
donations from local businesses.
