Director’s Message
Greetings and welcome to the 20th annual Millennium Music Conference & Showcase. In
2016 we’re once again based at the Central Hotel & Conference Center, Best Western Premier
and feature 2 days of music business panels, clinics, workshops, mentoring and trade show. At
night over 275 performances take place at 30 showcases venues all over the Harrisburg area.
Once again hundreds of original acts, artists and music industry professionals have come to join
the local community in this annual celebration of new music.
Since 1997, this conference & showcase has become one of the premier music events on the
East Coast. MMC has educated and showcased thousands of independent acts and artists from
all corners of the globe. Each year we assemble to examine and review the new paradigm of our
ever changing industry and the ramifications it has for independent acts and artists.
Our sincere thanks and gratitude are extended to the music industry professionals who have
come to participate as sponsors, speakers, mentors, exhibitors, VIP’s and talent scouts to share
their knowledge and experience. We thank the musicians and their teams who have assembled
to engage, network, do business and showcase at MMC20.
Thanks to the MMC staff and volunteers, the hotel staff, all the venues and their staffs, all
the sound men and companies, and all the exhibitors and sponsors. We especially want to thank
Lou Plaia of ReverbNation, John Nasser & Holland Sound, WTPA 921.FM, Robin Noll & PA

(Harris Room)
Many creatives struggle with the ability to sell their services, create

finance. The few that are able to generate profits have a hard time

planning, poor management, and the inability to take advantage of
resources. At this year’s Millennium Music Conference, Marcus
Harris will host an event called, “Tips to being a Starving Financially

financial products and practices that help to build strong financial
cash flow for small businesses and independent artists. Concepts and
