Social Action and Advocacy Shabbat:
Susan Balk from HateBrakers
Friday, Nov. 8, 6 p.m.,
HateBrakers works to interrupt the hate-breeds-hate
cycle by spotlighting individuals who have experienced
violence either as victims, witnesses or perpetrators
and then found the moral courage to become leaders
and healers rather than haters themselves. They also
work with schools and community organizations to
develop tools, presentations, exhibits, educational
materials and publications about interrupting the cycle
of hate. Learn more at www.hatebrakers.org.
