It’s on to the York Reunion / us 30 at York Fair for the Friday & Sat to help raise money for ALSF. Then on to racing
at Beaver Springs for the Nostalgia Nationals. Great time by all .. Big crowds loved the Burnouts and more.
If it’s JULY then it’s time for one of my favorite shows! Back again with the FRANTIC FORD .. 1 Shot presents
Artie's Party/Pinstripes Jamboree, presented by PPG Automotive Refinishers & Racing Junk at the
SYRACUSE NATIONALS to make a little noise. The Team Frantic Ford Mach 1 Mustang Funny Car was set up
outside Artie’s Party, and started up its 3,000 plus horsepower Nitro power plant before the start of each
auction to raise money for Ronald McDonald House of Central New York. We were auctioning off a chance to
SIT IN THE FRANTIC FORD driver’s seat during each start up.
IT WAS A SMASH HIT! The crowds were packed across the front of Horticulture Building to see and hear the
Frantic Nitro noise. The sound echoed through the fairgrounds which were jammed with over 8,000 hotrods
and over 70,000 spectators.
With each auction of the driver’s seat and a talented group of Facebook Frantic Ford artists from around the
world donating their work along with some of Frantic Ford sponsors donating product, it was a successful total
package. Check out who also got in the HOT SEAT !! ... Gene Winfield & Charlie Hutton
The end result was over $7,000 raised, adding to the final total of over $70,000! Thanks to Art Shilling for
having us back again ..You are the Best !
