Information
Leadership Certification and Raffle Prizes!
This year, all students that complete the FBLA “Leadership Certification”
will receive official certificates and they will be entered into a drawing to
win some awesome prizes including: an iPad Mini, gift cards, and more!
In order to be eligible, a student must receive three punches on their
activity card. The first punch is reserved for the Leadership Gauntlet and
MUST be completed! The other two punches can be a workshop, MOD
dance, or viewing a competitive event final.
Conference Name Badges
Name badges should be worn at all times while attending conference
activities. There is a $5 charge for replacement of lost name badges, and
replacements will only be given to your chapter Adviser or chaperone.
Replacements can be made in the Conference Information Room during
published Conference Headquarters hours.
Dance Conduct
As an FBLA member at this conference, it is important to remember that
professionalism does not stop once your events are over. Therefore, we
are reminding all members that inappropriate dancing is not allowed at
FBLA sponsored dances. Inappropriate behavior includes moshing, slam
dancing, freak dancing, and any lewd or sexually explicit displays, or
anything that could be construed as inappropriate touching will not be
allowed. If any of the above conducts are observed, you will be asked to
leave the dance. If the general atmosphere at the dance reflects
inappropriate behavior, the dance will be shut down. Please remember
that you are FBLA members and are expected to act in a professional
manner at all times.
Information Posting
For conference updates and postings of times, please check the bulletin
board by the Conference Information Desk. Members and Advisers are
also encouraged to follow Arizona FBLA on Twitter, as tweets will be sent
out as finals are posted in each event. For those staying in overflow
hotels, the FBLA Arizona website will be updated with finals as they
become available.
Spectators
Only final rounds in performance events are open for observation. Event
participants may not observe others in their competitive events. Events in
the Pavilion are not open to spectators. Spectators are limited to the
room size and may not enter or exit during performances.
