Estérel Resort
It’s now official: Estérel Resort and the Bistro à Champlain, two of the
great establishments in their respective fields, have joined forces in
order to provide the most demanding epicureans with an experience
at the highest level. Estérel Resort is proud to announce the acquisition of a genuine Québec treasure: Bistro à Champlain’s wine cellar with
more than 5,000 bottles, and is committed to continuing the dream of
this extraordinary wine connoisseur. The rich heritage of Champlain
Charest’s collection will also be safeguarded with the name “Bistro à
Champlain” being attributed to Estérel’s renowned gastronomic
restaurant, L’ultime. In addition to keeping this cellar in Québec, the
Estérel team will follow in the footsteps of Champlain Charest by conserving the links he created with producers
over the years, and will indeed continue to expand one of the finest wine cellars in Canada. Since all fine wine
must find its match at a good table, the cellar has been arranged so that festive events can take place. On Friday
and Saturday evenings, the Bistro à Champlain cellar can entertain up to 20 guests at the Tablée à Champlain, a
gastronomic evening marrying wine and good food hosted by a sommelier. The cellar will also be open to the
public from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. for visits and product tasting. A salon has also been specially set up in the cellar in
