Perhaps the highlight of the year
though, was the Fashion Show at
Mercedes Stratstone supported by
“This is an outstanding
achievement and one which the
whole team at Manning Stainton
can be very proud of’. He added
‘I’ve been overwhelmed by the
amount we have raised but none
of this would have been possible
without the support of the local
communities and businesses all
of whom have been with us on
this journey’.
After being presented with a
cheque for £70,000 Macmillan local
Fundraising Manager, Hayley Cooke
remarked, ‘‘We are so grateful to
Manning Stainton, they have taken
us into the heart of their communities
and we’d like to say a huge thank you
to everyone who volunteered, dressed
up, collected and donated throughout
2012. It is only because of the generosity of our supporters that we are able
to provide the best possible care and
support for people living with cancer.”

Throughout the year the entire
company, their friends, families
and many clients took part in a
huge range of events from a simple
raffle or collection, to car boots or
zumbathons and larger events like
golf days, fun days or race nights.

It was almost a year to the
day when Manning Stainton
began in its quest to raise
£50,000 for Macmillan Cancer
Support, a charity close to the
hearts of many in the Manning
Stainton team. It was with
great pride that Managing
Director, Russell Manning announced last weekend that the
team has smashed the original
target and raised a massive
£70,000 for this tremendous
cause.
