TORINO RISTORANTE
Welcome to Torino restaurant. We aim to provide our guests with great Italian food,
freshly cooked and full of flavour. We have sourced some of the best ingredients from
Italy combined with the finest local produce. Our steaks come from the farm of British
Butcher of the Year, Simon Howie in Perthshire. All of our fish is fresh and supplied daily by
fishmonger George Campbell and Sons of Perth.
This is a family run business, my grandfather, Giuseppe Dora, opened his first cafe in
Scotland in 1933. Four generations of our family have been serving your family and
Scotland for more than 80 years, we hope our experience shows!
We are very proud of our Scottish-Italian heritage and have tried to reflect this in our
restaurant design. If you look closely at our photo wall you will see just a few of the great
places in the city where you can get a wee flavour of Italy, from the perfectly preserved
Forte Cafe on Dura Street to the award winning Visocchi’s Gelateria in the Ferry. We’ve also
tried to put an Italian twist to some of the great local landmarks, from the perfectly formed
staircases of the McManus to the majestic City Square. Amiamo Dundee!
