 Bar Torino Functions Packages
Bar Torino is like no other bar in Adelaide. The heritage building was completely gutted until just four walls
remained. Apart from revealing exquisite stonework, this blank canvas was transformed into a
sophisticated space with a long, dark timber bar with a black marble top that pairs seamlessly with the
black and white tiled floor. A cheeky unique mural dominates the courtyard, which encapsulates the true
essence of Bar Torino.
Food takes influences from the traditional bars of Italy and Spain, but, shows no fear when it comes to
landing in South East Asia or, for that matter, just about anywhere else in the world. The menu at Bar
Torino is without fear of time or place and truly a modern bespoke international cuisine. Equally the wine
list is a global traveller with South Australian, Italian and Spanish varietals well represented. Then take into
account 87 Gins from around the world, the coolest of cocktails…state of the art glycol chilled on tap craft
beers and impressive list of bottled beers and aperitifs including the traditional ‘Vermut’.

EXCLUSIVE USE – Private events
Bar Torino is available for exclusive use on Mondays for up to 120 people. There is seating for
approximately 60 people throughout the bar. This includes our back courtyard and Hutt Street terrace,
but at capacity (120 people) approximately 50% will be standing.
MINIMUM CHARGEs
Minimum spend Mondays (non public holidays) $3500
Minimum spend Mondays (public holidays) $4200
Minimum spend over the bar on beverages (but included in the overall minimum spend) $1000
Venue access and function duration …..the allocated duration of your function at Bar Torino will
depend on the option you select.
Access to the venue ….for organisers; 30 minutes prior to the scheduled start time of your function.
Depending on other bookings earlier access to the venue may be possible. There is a charge for earlier
access to cover associated staffing costs..please discuss this with our events manager Vicki.
extending the length of your event ….an additional 30 minutes is allowed for your guests to leave
after the scheduled finish time of your event. Provided our license permits, we are happy to
accommodate a later finish. This is an additional cost, calculated according to the size of your event and
the number of staff required to accommodate the extension time..please discuss this with our events
manager Vicki.

1 FOOD….is an important part of the Bar Torino experience and our kitchen, is as comfortable, selecting
traditional tapas style food as it is, dishing up a delicious eclectic roast duck and black rice roll with and
Asian pineapple salad. Our head chef Soon Young Kwon is expert at cooking over charcoal; these items
include paella, meats like porchetta and ribs and seafood. This visual food preparation is exciting for
guests who love the theatrical aspects of the cooking over charcoal almost as much as they do eating the
food chef Soon Young Kwon cooks.
Dietary Requirements…..we want all of your guests to enjoy their experience at Bar Torino…advising
dietary requirements at the same time as confirming numbers is very important. Requesting dietary
requirements in your invite makes this process easy. Then, if you identify these guests on arrival, our staff
can ensure the food especially prepared for them meets its destination.
Please note our menu may be subject to change without notice according to seasonal availability.
Menu Options….menu options are broad at Bar Torino. A tightly timed event, you might choose to
just have a selection of roving pintxos with a couple of small sweet options like individual Tarte Santiago
and Crema de Catalan…basically all tapas/canapé sized food. When you are looking to fill the day (or
night), the options are endless. Start with a roving tapas, pintxos, pica pica selection…add some more
substantial items like our beef cheek buns and prawn cocktail cold roll and then add a paella or charcoal
and finish with individual sweeties including our amazing ice cream popsicles. Our chefs are happy to
personally guide you with your menu selections.

This is a private dining opportunity not available at any other Adelaide bar or restaurant. If you’ve ever
had a long lunch or dinner in Spain [or Italy or Greece] this is precisely what we create here. Plentiful
shared food in a relaxed atmosphere where service is always attentive and professional but subliminal
and unobtrusive.
Start with roving tapas and pica pica, then sit down to a leisurely meal punctuated with the theatre of the
preparation of the charcoal and paella prepared in front of your guests and finish with a selection of
delicious desserts.
Your menu and event is created in consultation with our chef Soon Young Kwon and our events manager
Vicki.
We especially love the magic of these private events; give us the brief and we’ll come back to you with an
event option that is created especially for you.

Our events manager can guide you as how to best negotiate the open bar option, but the following are

located immediately next door has two stylish private rooms both equipped with state of the art

We like to preserve the context of Bar Torino and do not encourage decorations.
Confetti, scatters and hanging on walls or from the ceiling are not permitted.
All decoration must be removed no later than 30 minutes after the scheduled end of your event.
No responsibility can be taken for items not removed.

9 TERMS AND CONDITIONS
CONFIRMATION & DEPOSITS for an event booking must be made within 5 days of the original tentative
booking. Completion of the booking form must accompany this confirmation. Your deposit is deducted from your final
account. Management reserves the right to cancel the booking & allocate the room to another client if this confirmation
has not been received. CANCELLATIONS if an event is cancelled less than 48 hours prior to the event – the full food
cost will be invoiced as a cancellation fee. Jan-Oct: Deposit will be refunded for cancellations 14 days+ prior to the event
day. November: Deposit will be refunded for cancellations 30days+ prior to the event day. Dec: Deposit will be refunded
for cancellations 60days+ prior to the event day. If an event is cancelled less than 48 hours prior to the event – the full
food cost will be invoiced as a cancellation fee. FINAL NUMBERS are required 5 days prior to the event. This
number represents the minimum numbers for which you will be charged.
MINIMUM SPEND of $3500 for non public
holiday Mondays, $4200 for public holiday Mondays. These events require a $1000 spend over the bar in addition to the
above minimum spends. MENU & BEVERAGE selections must be finalised at least 10 days prior to your event. Menu
items are subject to availability & change. All effort will be made to advise you of any changes.
FULL PAYMENT is
required prior to or on the day of your event. Payment methods include cash, company cheque, Electronic Funds Transfer
(EFT), credit/debit card. We do not allow separate accounts. EARLY ACCESS to the bar (more than ½ hour prior to
function start time) will incur a fee of $100.00 per hour to cover associated staffing costs.
LATE DEPARTURE from
the private dining rooms after event conclusion time will incur a fee of between $40 - $75 per ¼ hour depending on the
size of your event and the number of staff required to accommodate the extended event time. COMPLIANCE it is
understood that the organiser will conduct the function in an orderly manner in full compliance with Bar Torino
Regulations & Liquor Licensing Laws. Bar Torino reserves the right to exclude or eject any objectionable persons from the
bar without liability. RESPONSIBILITY organisers are financially responsible for any damage/breakages sustained to
Bar Torino by the organiser, organiser’s guests, invitees & other persons attending the function or persons contracted by
the organiser to undertake works at Bar Torino. Bar Torino will not accept any responsibility for the damage or loss of
merchandise left prior to or after the function. AUDIO organisers are financially responsible for any damage/breakages

permitted at Bar Torino. CLEANING general cleaning is included in the cost of the function. If cleaning requirements
following your function are judged to be excessive, additional cleaning charges will be incurred.
LICENSING Bar
Toirno is licensed for a maximum of 120 guests between the hours of 11am and 12am midnight on Mondays. Last drinks
are called at 11:45pm. Your guests will be asked to vacate the venue by 12am midnight.
