PROFILE
A dedicated golf professional specializing in golf instruction, creation and development of
numerous golf academies and lesson programs throughout British Columbia Canada for
the past 20 years. Forming the company STARGOLF in 1996, one of the woman golf
professional pioneers for creation and development of “Women teaching Women” golf
schools and the “Let’s Play Great Golf” competitive women’s league for the Okanagan
Valley as well as various mixed fun golf leagues, Ladies Nights and Jr. Girls Leagues, golf
schools, marketing and budgeting for academies and programs, freelance golf writer,
member of the National Coaches Certification Program and a competitive player in local
and provincial events. The past 35 years of golf knowledge and extensive golf experience in
the industry has presented exciting new opportunities to grow the game of golf in all levels,
ages and genders. Passionate, persistent and enthusiastic in life and work.
PERSONAL INTERESTS
Recently becoming a long distance runner and cyclist, I have decided to train for a local
events this summer as well as developing women’s fitness programs. Fitness is a lifelong
interest. With a strong interest in kinesiology and sports psychology, I have been
fortunate to learn from many professionals working with them over the years to enhance
my knowledge and teaching skills. My interest in playing golf for fun and in competition
inspired me to develop the “Let’s Play Great Golf” tour for top level women and junior
girls in my local area. I am passionate about sharing golf and bringing new players into
the “game of a lifetime” through various lessons, seminars and writing. I often volunteer
for local fundraisers and charity golf events plus enjoy the new social media keeping in
touch with family, friends and students while travelling and working. Discovering new
places, sharing great adventures, developing and organizing events, and spending heartfelt
time with family and friends are my most cherished life moments.
