H2S Alive
A required course for anyone working in the petroleum industry.
Learn about the properties, exposure limits, health hazards and
detection of H2S gas, as well as response strategies, rescue
techniques and how to use respiratory protective equipment.
ENFORM - Valid world wide for 3 years - 8 hrs classroom
Ground Disturbance Level II
Whether you are a backhoe operator, surveyor, environmental
engineer or are preparing to build a deck or fence on your own
property, this course will give you the tools and knowledge to
safely complete the work and avoid a potential pipeline or utility
hit.
Global Training Centre - Valid for 3 years - 8 hrs classroom
OSSA Confined Space Entry / Monitor
Offered through CICT. Learn how to identify hazards, how to
control and test for potential confined space dangers, proper
Personal Protective Equipment needed for entry, and about
confined space entry permits.
CICT - Valid for 3 years - 8 hrs classroom
OSSA Fall Protection
Developed by CICT, this program includes a combination of
theory and practical components to give you a real hands on
approach with many types of equipment that are used for fall
protection.

WHMIS (2015 GHS)
WHMIS training is required across Canada by anyone who works
with or near controlled chemicals (including bleach). Learn about
Safety Data Sheets, personal protective equipment, hazard
symbols and more.
Danatec - Valid for 3 years - 2-4 hrs self study program
TDG
Anyone who handles, ships or receives, transports or offers a
consignment for transport requires dangerous goods training
under federal law. Learn how dangerous goods are classified, safe
packaging requirements and how to protect yourself from
hazards.

Emergency First Aid / Standard First Aid
First Aid is the most commonly required training course in the
workplace. In addition to CPR, this course offers valuable
information and skills to the first aider so that he/she will be
effective until EMS arrives. With Apex Training Solutions’

Fire Extinguisher Training
Using state of the art, environmentally friendly Fire Simulation
Equipment - BULLEX ITS Extreme training system. This multi
function device enhances the practical experience of the trainee
by incorporating various props which, when lit on fire, provide a
more realistic fire fighting scenario. The system uses clean
burning LP gas and water charged extinguishers.
Spectrum Safety Services - Valid for 3 years - 4 hrs classroom
Defensive Driving / Professional Driver
Improvement Course (GODI Equivalent)
Employers often look for workers who have these two courses if
work requires driving company-owned vehicles. Successful
completion also removes 3 demerit points from the students’
driving record.
