Our winter charm experience tips:
1
Neugarten 8-seater
Carving Jet with
additional Neugarten
speed run
Carinthia’s first and only 8-person chairlift!
This way skiing on the Neugarten piste, the widest carving
slope in Carinthia, is even more fun. Waiting times are a thing
of the past because the powerful Neugarten 8-person Carving
Jet, Carinthia’s first 8-person chairlift, has been in operation
since 2008. On perfectly groomed pistes you can swing down
and between the descents you can relax on a comfortable,
softly padded chair on the new 8-person chairlift!
2
Gerlitzen Alpe
fun park
Snowboarders and freestylers will be in their element at the
fun park near the top of Gerlitzen Alpe. Located between
the Klösterle and Neugarten downhill runs, it has rails,
kickers, straight and curved boxes for perfecting jumps
and practising other acrobatic tricks.
Not only popular with riders and freestylers –
watching is also well worthwhile.
3
Gerlitzen Alpe –
tobogganing with cosy
chalet evening
When the night settles on the Gerlitzen, the piste basher
will bring all mountain enthusiasts to a cosy mountain cabin
to enjoy an evening at 1,900 m altitude.
At the Pacheiner inn the guests will be treated to delicious
fondue or spare ribs and then, with a new boost of energy,
you will be off down to the valley on a 2 km long natural
toboggan run. Haven’t got a toboggan? No problem, rental
toboggans are there waiting for you!
4
Gerlitzen’s Bino the
Bear Show
The Gerlitzen Bino Bear, the popular mascot of the Gerlitzen
ski school, romps around in the 3 kids’ and snow bear lands
on the Gerlitzen.
He dances, sings and plays with the little ones and
motivates them as they begin to learn.

Also the Verditz has a daring side!
The 1.5 km long steep slope run, known as the “Grausbirn”
run by the locals, is for excellent skiers only. The heart races
when you rush down the Grausbirn run.
A 45 degree decline awaits daring skiing acrobats.
