water
In the desert, water is life. The 36,000 gallon rainwater catchment system we have installed at our Tucson headquarters
(largest in the western US), provides all the water for our landscaping and greatly reduces our strain on the aquifer.
solar
Water. Sun. Air. As athletes, they are our essence. As a planet, they are our precious resources.
TriSports launched the largest solar power and water harvesting project in the entire triathlon industry. Our power comes from the sun, not the grid. Our water falls from the sky, collected in our
water harvesting system. The entire footprint of our company is not much bigger than a running
shoe in a vast desert.
Tucson is the Winter Training Capital balanced upon one of the most unique and fragile ecosystems in the world, Arizona’s Sonoran Desert. The TriSports headquarters building works with our
desert, conserving energy from our environment and leaving almost no trace behind. Being a
small part of our environment is a big part of who we are.
In late 2011, we flipped the switch on our 128kW photovoltaic system that provides 90% of our energy needs. Combined with
a program of increased efficiency in our offices, we’re getting close to
100% of our power coming from Arizona’s most abundant natural resource: the sun.
commuting
Ride your bike. Our alternative commuting program rewards
employees that bike (or run!) to work with store credit and prizes
for milestones throughout the year. In 2011 we commuted over
20,000 miles without using a car, keeping nearly 18000 lbs of C02
out of the atmosphere and saving almost 900 gallons of gasoline.*
*Based on average fuel economy for US vehicles in 2011 of 22.4mpg .
Off the grid, off the tap. One of the PV arrays alongside an 18,000gal capacity rainwater storage tank.

science: it works
Up to 5% faster run times, up to 6% less energy: it’s not a numbers game; for CEP it’s science. CEP owns over six decades of research in
medical grade compression, with unique and proven compression designs that provide better performance, greater endurance and faster
recovery. Discover the compression advantage of CEP used by Team TriSports athlete TJ Tollakson and Ironman® winner Mirinda Carfrae.
The medical-grade, graduated compression in the CEP Progressive Compression Socks improves blood flow to increase active
performance and speeds recovery for muscles. The CEP Compression Trisuit has their proven performance-enhancing compression

A company of swimmers, blueseventy takes their name from the
70% of the Earth’s surface that is covered by water. blueseventy
is singularly dedicated to the swim, creating a range of products
whose only purpose is to help move you through the water as
smoothly and efficiently as humanly possible.
For 2012, their entire wetsuit lineup has been renewed and
optimized for every swimmer type. The flagship Helix gains
additional balanced flotation through the chest and legs,
and debuts an innovative proprioceptive forearm panel –
a paper-thin fabric incorporated into the suit that allows
an unencumbered feel for the water and improved
efficiency throughout your stroke. The Reaction suits
are at the sweet spot of performance and value for
the all-around triathlete. The Fusion is optimized for
triathletes whose primary sport isn’t the swim: extra
flotation panels in the lower torso and legs help

Engineered with 100% Yamamoto 40 neoprene, the most flexible in the industry, the TYR Freak of
Nature uses every innovation in wetsuit technology from the previous three decades – and a few
from the next two decades. No wetsuit is more advanced.
The TYR Freak of Nature achieves optimal flotation, flexibility, body position in the water and core
stabilization, for your best swim split ever. The only slow part will be finding your bike in T1 when
you hit the beach first.
a triathlon original
To make a bike faster, you need to design it differently. The
Illicito, Triathlon America’s “Most Innovative Product of the Year,”
achieves this goal by building upon the SHIFT Technology of the
CD0.1. Quintana Roo’s SHIFT Technology directs air to the “clean”
side of the bike, and in the Illicito, there is no seat stay on that
side to get in the way of air trying to make it past: less material in
the wind = less wind resistance.
Quintana Roo has always lead with tri-specific bikes. From the
pointy end of the design spear to the value priced category
killing Seduza and Dulce; Quintana Roo is not only the inventor
of the triathlon bike, they are the leader.
Quintana Roo’s unique geometry gets you aero and keeps you
comfortable. In T2, you are ready for your fastest run off the bike
ever. No one in the industry has been specing triathlon bikes
longer than QR; everything from your cockpit to components and
wheels are the industry best value and performance. Experience
the legacy of our sport, and the most advanced thinking in bike
design. Experience Quintana Roo.

a history of excellence
get fit with Nineteen
History, legacy, innovation – few companies
combine these as Orbea does. From origins
as a metal tubing fabricator in the 1840’s to
dominance in the highest levels of cycling and
triathlon, Orbea is an authentic brand with
genuine history and technology. Today Orbea’s
innovative frame designs call on every bit of
their generations of experience while anticipating
the needs of the century ahead – forward design
from historic expertise.
For road racing, triathlon, or mountain biking,
Orbea’s complete line epitomizes the integration
of traditional roots and modern competitive
experience, resulting in bikes that couldn’t be
where they are today if they hadn’t started a
century ago. The competition may catch up in
another hundred years.
Nineteen Wetsuits has been building great fitting triathlon wetsuits
with solid design and construction for over ten years. With the
launch of the new Rogue and Rogue SS they have taken wetsuit
engineering to the next level.
The Rogue Wetsuit provides the perfect balance of flexibility,
buoyancy and compression to deliver your fastest swim splits.
The CSC Exoskeleton provides compression and stability to
make you swim more efficiently. The strategically placed
high performance neoprene works synergistically with the
compression fabric lining to improve body position and
stability in the water. The WingSpan Elite system uses industry
best neoprene in a unique pattern, to optimize your stroke. You
feel better, you swim better. It’s the Nineteen difference.
When the water is too warm for wetsuits, the Rogue SS gets you
to T1 sooner, using the fastest legal Yamamoto swimskin fabric.
Compression in strategic areas adds performance and proprioception
to improve your efficiency.

BH Ultralight Road Bike. Scan the tag to learn

viva la BH
BH (Beistegui Hermanos) is one of the world’s oldest bike manufacturers, with over 100 years of
precision crafting experience. Based out of Spain and long a staple of European pelotons, BH has set its
sites on North American shores with bikes like the Ultralight.
As the lightest, stiffest production frame ever made at 747g for a painted 56cm frame, the Ultralight is
clearly a technological marvel. BH’s development of the BB386EVO system enabled them to widen the
downtube and increase the size of the chainstays for unheard of pedaling efficiency, while reducing
weight and balancing ride quality. With the use of proprietary Formula 1 developed carbon blends
and advanced molding techniques, all of that technology produces the ride characteristic for which Ultralight Frameset$4299
BH has long been famous.
alpha predator
Focused on his prey. 2-time Ironman® World Champion,
Chris “Macca” McCormack, in the Alpha Triathlon Wetsuit.
Scan the tag to see the full Orca lineup online.
Orca’s hunt for the best wetsuit technology ends with
the Alpha: the swim split top predator. Built with ultraflexible Yamamoto #40 neoprene for the accomplished
swimmer, it is the preferred choice of the world’s fastest
open water triathletes.
Orca’s 3.8 is built for buoyancy, with Exo-Cell rubber
strategically used in the chest, torso, rear and back of the
calves for optimum swim position and greatest speed.
The 3.8 provides the best flotation of any high-flexibility
wetsuit and is the fastest choice for competitive
triathletes without a strong swimming background.
The Sonar pierces the water with trickle-down
technology from top level suits, including Yamamoto #39
and Aerodome neoprene to give a level of performance
unheard of at this price. With no price increase but a
healthy technology bump for 2012, the Equip is the
value buy in the wetsuit category.
