CONSTRUCTION
The Manatee hull and cabin sides are of fiberglass sandwich construction with
closed-cell PVC foam core; heavy hand layup using mat and roving. This state-ofthe-art construction is one of the most enduring and safest afloat. Closed-cell
PVC foam core does not deteriorate or absorb water. The composite structure
serves both as a buoyancy material and shock, sound and temperature insulator.
It rides quiet, increases impact strength and eliminates condensation build-up
inside the hull.
Decks are a fiberglass sandwich construction with end-grain balsa core.
All joiner work, paneling, and beam-caps are of fine teak. Cabinetry is teak.
Counter-tops are mica.

COMMAND BRIDGE/BOAT DECK
The Command Bridge offers a 360 degree view and has central
controls with hydraulic steering, safety-glass windows, the center windshield
opens for ventilation. Behind the helm area, there is a large U-shaped dinette/
settee that can be converted to a double berth at owner's option. Doors both, port
and starboard lead out to the boat deck area or access forward to the foredeck.
The boat deck is an expansive 168 square feet for lounging and tender stowage.
The stainless rails are all through-bolted for brute strength. It's nice to be able to
step out of the Command Bridge and easily drop fenders, readying for docking.
Proceeding forward one step down to the foredeck and anchor windlass. There are
storage lockers both port and starboard at the forward end of the Command
Bridge, with a seating alcove in between. Another nice place to sit and enjoy the
world around you from.
COCKPIT/BACK PORCH
Many Krogen owners refer to their cockpits as back porches and if you've been
aboard a Krogen then you certainly understand why. The Manatee back porch is
truly that! Boarding EASY RIDER can be done on either port or starboard sides
through side door or the drop-down cockpit door.
Opening the French doors from the saloon to the 8' X 12" cockpit (back porch),
expands your living area substantually. A few outstanding features to note
here...You've probably noticed and wondered why looking at the photos, this
Krogen model lacks a bolt-on swim platform? Well one of the absolutely coolest
features of the Krogen Manatee is the drop-down cockpit door/gang way sun deck.
Imagine it...You're at anchor, you've got the double doors open and you've got a
single level living space from owner's stateroom clear through to your opened
cockpit, you've got fish on the BBQ, and maybe enjoying a glass of a locally
crafted wine and about to enjoy another amazing sunset... Yep, EASY RIDER IS
ONE HECK OF A GREAT CHOICE FOR YOU!!!
SALOON
The Saloon is very large, bright and breezy with sliding picture windows. To port
is a built-in U-shaped dinette that converts to a queen size bed, the table is a HiLo built-in that functions as a coffee table or opens to a full dinner table
easily accommodating dinner for six! To starboard are two easy chairs and storage
cabinets and a 32" Samsung LCD TV mounted on the aft bulkhead.

The Manatee saloon is designed for the social aspect but remains a warm living
environment that you'll enjoy for years and years...
GALLEY
The Galley is located on the port side, forward of the saloon. This is a
commodious galley offering exceptional storage found in
cupboards, compartments and drawers.
One of the features that is SO special about this Galley, is the louvered doubleopening door that either opens or closes the galley off from the saloon/dining area!

MASTER STATEROOM
One of the best features of the Krogen Manatee is the extra-large bright and airy
stateroom! Located forward with a queen-sized island berth atop drawers and
storage, more storage under the twin side seats, enormous closets, a plethora of
drawers including a mirrored vanity and a library for your favorite cruising books.
Finished with teak tongue-and-groove paneling, overhead trim and louvered doors.
Ventilation is ideally provided by 4-opening portlights and a large deck
hatch. Power outlets are plentiful and positioned right where you'll need them.
