Useful Information
H
J
J) Loreta – is a pilgrimage site established by B.B. Katherina von
Lobkwicz in 1626 where you can see replica of Santa Casa. The Santa
Casa is an over-decorated baroque cube, which has fragmentary
frescoes inside, and houses the wonder-working statue of Our Lady
of Loreto. The Loreta treasury has a famed collection of vestments and
other religious objects. In the south-western corner is the Chapel of Our
Lady of Sorrows, which has a sculpture of a crucified bearded woman.
 Walks - Meeting Point
The meeting point for all the walks (except Beer and Ghost Tour) is next to the very famous
Astronomical Clock on the Old Town Square (ask at your hotel reception for exact directions).
The clock is a 5-minute walk from Staromestska metro or tram station and is one of the most
famous locations in Prague, so everyone knows it). Your guide waits for you with a red umbrella
(a with our company logo) standing 30 meters away from the clock. Please turn up 10 minutes
before the walk starts.
When do I have to pay for the return transfer?
Please pay when you arrive at your hotel. For reservation with a return trip
or with more trips, you can choose to pay the total amount at once, or to pay
for each trip separately. Our chauffeur will give you “a transport voucher” as
confirmation of your payment. If you pay in cash you can pay in local currency
or in the currency stated in your confirmation email (the price may vary slightly,
based on the actual exchange rate).
E
E) Municipal House – Prague‘s most prominent Art Nouveau building
with interior partially designed by Alphons Mucha, built between 1905
and 1912. Visit the biggest concert hall in town (Smetanova Hall) and
also don’t miss coffee at the fabulous Municipal House Kavárna. Next
to the Municipal House is Powder Gate - one of the 13 original fortified
gates to Old Town. There is also a small exhibition about the tower and
it is open for great views of the city.
I
I) Church our Our Lady Before Týn – fascinating interior with gothic
touches from the 14th century. The interior‘s Gothic, Renaissance and
Baroque features include sculptures of Calvary, a pewter font and a 15thcentury Gothic pulpit. The Danish astronomer Tycho Brahe is buried in a
marble tomb here. The cathedral is an Old Town Square landmark with
distinctive twin spires that are a reassuring sight to many tourists after
losing their bearings in the narrow surrounding byways.

Do you wish to change, cancel, or book return transport?
Just give us a call between 7am till midnight, daily. You can also text or email
us. All changes are free of charge.
D
D) Jewish Quarter Josefov – oldest Jewish settlement in Europe
named after emperor Josef II. Here are two figures synonymous with
this part of the city, Franz Kafka and the mystical humunculus Golem
created by Rabi Löw. The Jewish cemetery, Old-new Synagogue, Klausen
Synagogue and the Pinkas Synagogue are definitely worthwhile sights.
Be prepared for entrance admission to most of the sights ranging from
200 CZK or just buy 480 CZK for a ticket encompassing all the sights.
H
H) Wenceslas Square – is a hustle and bustle of commerce, tourist
shops, restaurants, casinos, hotels, and countless shops. It really comes
alive after dark, when its restaurants, cinemas and nightclubs attract the
tourist crowds. At the northern end of the square you can find the neoRenaissance National Museum and St. Wenceslas Monument. Another
significant building is Koruna palác - a covered shopping arcade with a
stunning glass dome dating from 1911.
Should I tip the driver?
If you are happy with the service then it is customary to tip between 5% and
15%. However, this is entirely at your discretion, although please bear in mind
that even a very small tip will keep your driver extra happy :)
C
C) Charles Bridge – dating back to 1357 this bridge was built to
replace Judith’s Bridge from the 12th century. There are thirty sculptures
that decorate the bridge date mainly from the baroque period. Charles
Bridge is one of the most popular tourist spots - vibrant day or night,
scattered with vendors and entertainers. Early morning is the best time
to experience a less crowded walk, although a romantic evening walk
through the impressively lit streets of Prague by night is nice too.
G
G) Vyšehrad – once it was a forbidding fortress and now it is a popular
place for locals during weekends. Visit the city’s oldest Romanesque
rotunda of St. Martin, the Church of St. Peter & Paul, enjoy a peaceful
walk in the gardens. It is easily and quickly reachable from the centre
by metro line ‚C‘ to station ‚Vyšehrad‘ (two stations from the National
Museum). From there it is about a 10-minute walk to Vyšehrad‘s main
gate. The tour of the complex takes about 2 or 3 hours.
Tour guide waits 30m
away from the clock.
Private Transfer
DEPARTURE: Upon your departure our driver will collect you at the address or

B
B) Old Town Sq. and Astronomical Clock – just in the
heart of the Old Town surrounded by charming baroque,
gothic and rococo architecture, OldTown Sq. is a great place
to hang around, have a lunch at one of many of its cafes, hire a horse
or buggy, browse markets stalls or just watch the Astronomical clock.
Don’t miss the Church of Our Lady Before Týn, the rococo Kinsky Palace,
the medieval House at the Stone Bell and baroque St. Nicholas Church.
F
F) Petřín Hill and Funicular – escape to the green peaceful grounds
of Petrin, visit the Petrin Observation Tower, Observatory or just enjoy
great views of the city. Funicular Railway to Petrin Hill is just opposite
to tram stop Ujezd (trams 12, 22, 23) in Lesser Town. Railway runs in
10-15 min. intervals. From Petrin Hill you can take a walk to the Strahov
Monastery. The monastery area includes the unique Strahov Library
decorated with Baroque ceiling frescos.

A
A) Prague Castle and St. Vitus Cathedral – the largest medieval
castle in the world – jewel of the Czech capital, enchanting large
Cathedral, castle exhibition of Czech history, collection of Bohemian art,
Prague Castle Gallery, Toy Museum, Powder Tower and Golden Lane
are some of the places to see. Most monuments are open daily Apr-Oct
