All of the stamps issued by
Post Danmark in 2013 are presented
on this page, which was last
updated in August 2013.
7 January
Fish
In this issue, Post Danmark focuses on
some of the species of fish that flourish in the seas around Denmark. The
four stamps are produced in offset and
designed by Bertil Skov Jørgensen, with
graphics by Post Danmark Stamps.
Children’s TV
The second part of the series “Children’s
TV” focuses on the Danish kids’ television stars Kaj & Andrea and Mr. Beard.
The stamp featuring Mr. Beard is designed by Miwer, the one featuring
Kaj & Andrea by Post Danmark Stamps.
They are produced in offset.

Danish Manor Houses
The two stamps in the second part of
the series “Danish Manor Houses”
feature Valdemar and Egeskov castles.
Jens Lindhe photographed the motifs for
the stamps, which are designed by Post
Danmark Stamps and engraved by
Martin Mörck and Bertil Skov Jørgensen.
Both stamps are produced in a
combination of intaglio and offset.
Kierkegaard at 200
A stamp is being issued by Post Danmark
and Posta Faroe Islands to mark the
200th anniversary of the birth of Søren
Kierkegaard. It is based on a drawing by a
relative of the famous writer, Niels Christian
Kierkegaard. The stamp is designed by
Post Danmark Stamps and engraved by
Bertil Skov Jørgensen. It is produced in a
combination of intaglio and offset.
Postal Vehicles
The theme for this year’s EUROPA stamp
is “Postal Vehicles”. The motif, which features Post Danmark’s new electric bike,
is photographed by Carsten Andersen
and designed by Post Danmark Stamps
and produced in a combination of intaglio
and offset. The engraver is Bertil Skov
Jørgensen.

Centenary of the Little Mermaid
Post Danmark is issuing a stamp to
mark the centenary of the Little Mermaid
statue. The design is based on a photograph by Tine Harden. Martin Mörck
engraved the stamp, which is designed
by Post Danmark Stamps and produced
in a combination of intaglio and offset.
Danish Rock
Two stamps designed by artist and rock
musician Kasper Eistrup are being issued
as a tribute to Danish rock music. They
are printed in offset.
Save the Children
The 2013 charity stamp supports Save
the Children, which fights for children’s
right to care, security and protection.
Profits from the stamp will support Save
the Children’s work to combat violence
against children.

Post Danmark will issue two stamps to
celebrate the international design event
INDEX:AWARD Steen Larsen photographed the motifs for the stamps, which
are designed by Post Danmark Stamps
and produced in offset.
2 September
Hans Christian Andersen
The second part of the “Hans Christian
Andersen” series consists of four stamps
featuring motifs from four different fairy
tales. The stamps are produced in a
combination of intaglio and offset.
The engraver is Martin Mörck.
Stamp Art
The annual issue in the “Stamp Art”
series features a work by the artist Jytte
Høy. Bertil Skov Jørgensen engraved the
stamp, which is produced in a combination of intaglio and offset.
29 October
Winter
Three stamps issued for the Christmas
season featuring winter motifs by Jette
Frölich. All three are produced in offset.
7 November
Trade treaties
Post Danmark and La Poste focus on old
trade treaties in this joint issue to celebrate the long history of good trading
relations between France and Denmark.
Both countries will issue two stamps
designed by Post Danmark Stamps. The
Danish stamps are engraved by Bertil
Skov Jørgensen, the French ones by Elsa
Catelin. The stamps are produced in
combination of intaglio and offset.
