2014-2015 School-Age program!
If you register in advance between August 12—15th,
You will receive $150 credit toward your child care bill!!!
The teachers are attending important trainings during this time in an
effort to give your children the best possible quality care available.
Teachers will also use this time to get their rooms ready for the new
year! We are hopeful that you can be proud to send your children to a
program that cares about the continuing education of their teachers.

during the day and
getting enough sleep
helps them with learning,
mood and overall health.
The following are general guidelines from the
National Sleep Foundation:
3 to 11 months old: 9 to 12 hrs
1 to 3 years old: 12 to 14 hrs
Have you heard about a great way to beat the heat?
Visit a local pool!
3 to 5 years old: 11 to 13 hrs

Summer Camp Celebration!
This year TenderCare and Capitol Drive Lutheran sent 11 children
to summer Bible camp. They had an awesome time! How awesome? Come and see on
Wednesday August 20th, at 5:30pm in the church. Camp staff will help our campers
lead a worship service for the whole family. They'll share their camp experiences,
and we'll end with a cookout and marshmallow roasting. You won't want to miss it.
Might even inspire you to sign up your family next year!
Families who attend will receive 5 TenderDollars to go
towards their bill.
And looking ahead, we're going to be inviting TenderCare teachers and
families to worship on Sunday Sept 21, at 9:30am where we will do a
Blessing of our Teachers, and hopefully hear a special song presentation
by some of our TenderCare children. Mark the calendar now! :-)
