Introduction
Hi-Tech Precision were formed in 1999 by the current directors Darren August and Simon Brown. Both qualified
engineers, both with years of experience working in the precision sub-contract manufacturing sector: each of them a
desire to run their own company.
Having initially set up in a small 1300 sq ft workshop, backed by personal loans secured against their homes, Hi-Tech
has grown into a thriving supplier of high precision machined parts and sub-assemblies into a variety of blue chip
industry sectors.
Now located in a 13,000 sq ft factory in Waterlooville, Hi-Tech employ 28 staff (including night shift), have a turnover in
excess of £2.5m and plans for further growth through investment in plant and perhaps most importantly, skilled
engineers.
Introduction
Servicing, amongst others, the Oil / Gas, Nuclear, Defence, Automotive, Aerospace, Marine & Formula one market
sectors, our philosophy of high quality throughout is critical to our future success.
Specialising in low to medium volume & high precision markets, our focus is on service to our customers. We have
experienced year on year growth as we develop strong working relationships with our customers, several of whom have
been with us from the beginning.
Our policy of re-investment means we are always at the cutting edge of market needs and can target our customers
specific requirements.

employ the services of an external Quality Assurance consultant.
We can also offer our customers specific Databook requirements which include First Article inspection reports, Certificates of
Conformity, Material Certification, Full dimension reports, Non Destructive Examination reports and full identification traceability.

Future Outlook
Partnership, Commitment and Visibility
We wish to align ourselves with customers who value the contribution and effort of vendors in meeting order
requirements, and to develop long term relationships based on trust and ongoing order input.
Our future plans for investment in plant and personnel rely on growth, and we are looking for accounts which can provide
in the region of £10k–£15K per month order input this year, rising to approximately £20-£30k per month over the next 2
to 3 years. These figures are approximate.
Latest Facility
We acquired an additional unit with approximately 6500 sq ft of factory space, and are looking to attract customers who
have a requirement for ongoing machining capacity.
Please note that we are in the process of assessing our future investment in plant and equipment, and should your
company have any specific capacity requirements we will happy to discuss these with you at the earliest opportunity.
