A History of Gastech
Gastech is the leading event for the international oil & gas industry and a global
meeting place for energy professionals working in the natural gas cycle.
Gastech’s history dates back to 1972, when the original event was set up to bring
together technical decision makers involved in LNG and LPG shipping. The event has
since evolved to attract the entire supply chain of the oil & gas industry and is held
every 18 months in a different international location.
Gastech now attracts over 14,000 industry commercial and technical professionals and
services as a showcase for over 400 exhibitors from the upstream, midstream and
