TOSOLIN: Total Sun Protection
Tosolin regulates 2 important cells in de epidermis involved in sun tanning/protection:
1. Direct regulation of the Langerhans cells,
responsible for the natural UV protection
=> Protection of the skin through antioxidants
=> Reduction UV-induced redness
=> Protection against DNA-damage
=> Protection collagen
=> Less wrinkle formation
2. Indirect regulation of melanocytes, responsible for
the skin tan
=> Through an increased production of &-MSH
and ET-1 in skin cells. &-MSH and ET-1 regulate the
melanocytes to produce the skin pigment: melanin
=> More pigmentation for a better natural sun
