THIS IS THE NEW US
Five Seasons is a family business founded in 1982. Our heritage dates back to 1888 when Per
Persson launched the leather brand S. P. Persson in Malung, Sweden.
Per was an exceptionally talented businessman when transforming the leather industr y by owning
both factories and shops at the most prominent addresses in Stockholm and Gothenburg.
Back in the days S. P. Persson became an impor tant vendor to the Royal Cour t of Sweden and
one of the largest suppliers of uniforms to the Swedish Armed Forces.
It was with this heritage in mind that Per Persson’s great grandson, Gunnar Johansson, founded
Five Seasons. His vision was to become Europe’s leading supplier of ski and spor ts clothing,
offering high quality and excellent value clothes. Five Seasons was one of the first brands to
produce in Asia lowering cost whilst maintaining a superb quality.
Today, Five Seasons is run by the next family generation:

spor ts clothing within an interesting value segment as Gunnar did but with a new spirit of the

K RISTIAN
LARSSON
Kristian Larsson, born and raised in Gothenburg, Sweden, is a genuine spor t fanatic.
With over 5 international Nordic skiing races in his schedule for 2015, Kristian is currently
aiming for a top 500 position at this year´s Vasaloppet. Not only is Kristian an exceptional
Nordic skier but also a dedicated and well experienced downhill and off-piste spor tsman.
Five Seasons took the oppor tunity and inter viewed Kristian following
the AW15 catalogue shooting in Zermatt, Switzerland:
Kristian tell us about your favorite skiing destinations:
-I love the valley of Engadina in Switzerland for Nordic skiing and Lech, Austria for downhill
skiing. After shooting Five Seasons’ AW15 collection, I however ; realized that my list of
favorite skiing places clearly needs to be extended by Zermatt.
How often do you ski?
-I tr y to enjoy downhill skiing at least 2-3 weeks a season and Nordic skiing as much as I
can. With the decision of aiming for a top 500 position at Vasaloppet, I had to scale up my
training schedule in order to have a realistic chance to achieve my ambitious goal.
The extreme race up in the Nor th of Sweden is a classic Nordic skiing competition over
the distance of 90 kilometers with more than 16’000 par ticipants from all over the world.
What are your favorite sports?
-I guess you figured my favorite spor t disciplines in winter by now (laughs). During summer
I love to sail around the Swedish west coast with family and friends.
After you´ve been wearing Five Seasons´ AW15 collection which is your favorite ski jacket and why?
-I like the Ludo Jacket in Fern green as it unites style with comfor t and quality plus it can
be used as an ever yday jacket as well.

in the colour Black. Even though this is a street jacket it has a detachable
snowlocker and waterproof material which also makes it suitable for the slopes.
B AN KS J AC KET
Kristian is wearing the Banks jacket in the colour Midnight. This jacket is made in a material
which makes it both water repellent and windproof for up to 5000 mm. It also has waterproof
zips and is equipped with wristgaiters and a snowlocker. The jacket has a double hood solution
with a detachable inner hood. Perfect for the slopes and in the streets.
