Presidents Welcome
Dear riders and guests,
The Lower Plenty Pony Club organising committee welcomes you to our Combined Training day. We are
very excited to be holding this event, the first in a number of years, after our 2013 event was cancelled
when the Donnybrook fires wreaked havoc on our grounds.
I would like to sincerely thank all those who have put in so much effort over the last couple of months and
today, to make this event possible.
We ask that riders are prepared to ride on time and have respect and show courtesy to our judges,
officials and volunteers who are here to make this a great day for all riders.
We have been privileged enough to have a number of sponsors support our event, so please support these

Neither the Lower Plenty Pony Club Inc. nor the Pony Club Association of Victoria accepts liability for any
loss, accident, damage, injury or illness to horses, riders, spectators or any other person whatsoever
whether caused by negligence or not.
Competitor Information
Gates open at 7am.
All pony club competitors must present their grading cards to the card secretary to verify current
membership and grading prior to competing. No Card, No Ride.
Open riders must present a current member card of, PCAV, EA, HRCAV, AHSA, AERA, an interstate pony
club or can provide proof that they are covered by a Public Liability Insurance Policy with a minimum of
$10,000.000.00 cover at the office to be exempt from the day participant fee.
Competitors can supply their own numbers, or collect their body number from the card secretary. Bridle
or saddlecloth numbers are to be displayed on both sides of horse OR a body number to be worn.
Medical armbands must be worn by all competitors for all phases.
Riders MUST present to gear check 20 minutes before each phase of the competition. The gear check area
will be located adjacent to the warm up area, PCAV gear rules apply to all sections.
Lunging in signed metal round yard only.
Toilets are located at the rear of the clubhouse.
Our canteen will be open from 7.30 am all day offering hot and cold food and drinks. A coffee van will also
be present.
It would be appreciated if you could take home any manure/hay/rubbish near your float.
Dogs are not permitted on the grounds at this event.
Presentation
Results will be posted at the clubhouse as soon as possible after the completion of the last rider in each
section. Any queries should be directed to the event secretary.
Awards will take place unmounted at the clubhouse at approximately 1 hour of the conclusion of the last
rider for each section. Sashes will be presented from 1st to 6th in each section, there will be no equal
placings.
A prize will be presented to the 1st place winner in the combined training section and rosettes will be
awarded to the 1st place winner in the dressage section.
Tickets for our raffle will be sold throughout the day.
1 ticket for $2 or 3 tickets for $5.
Draw will be at approx 3pm
